WHAT?!
Ethan was from the same pack as me, but not the Grey Dusk Pack?
I couldn’t help but release the laughter of disbelief that threatened to burst from my chest.
“Ethan,” I said through laughter. “You have really found the wrong person. I’m from the Grey Dusk Pack and nowhere else.”
Did he think I would believe him? I’d never been outside of the Grey Dusk Pack before I came here. My dad, no matter what a bastard he was, was the Alpha of the pack, and my mother was his mate. Used to be his mate.
If I came from another pack, I would’ve known it. But from memories as early as I could remember, I’d always stayed there.
“You don’t believe me.” His tone, surprisingly, sounded calm, not accusatory at all.
I snorted. He still wanted to play this game?
