I hesitated for a moment to answer.
Goddess, what should I say?
“Bella, tell them you are the triplets’ mate!” Lacy snarled in my mind. She didn’t like my hesitation.
Still, I hesitated. I couldn’t possibly say I was the triplets’ mate. Or could I?
Nope, I couldn’t. If everyone knew it, I didn’t know how they would react. Most probably, they would laugh at me and tell me that I was delusional, but that was okay for me.
What made me decide not to acknowledge them as my mates was simple—I still wanted my freedom. I didn’t care to be trapped in the royal family as the Luna Queen. Also, I was a little afraid of their possessiveness. Not so much scared per se, but I didn’t like them knowing my every move.
