I felt myself blushing because I hadn’t found anything permanent yet. I only browsed for high-paying jobs, and I doubted the triplets would allow me to have another job since I already worked at one of their companies.
“I haven’t found anything yet,” I decided to be honest with her after telling her so many lies. “The job here keeps me busy.”
I groaned inwardly. Goddess, I had just lied to her again! I wondered, though, would Tina support me if I told her the truth? Or would she be like Lacy, asking me to be with mates, mates, mates?
Peeking at her from beneath my lashes, I was sure she wouldn’t tell anyone about me being the triplets’ mate since she was a shy one, but I couldn’t trust her not to be like Lacy.
One Lacy was enough. If I had two Lacys… I shuddered
