Liliana shook her head. “She said she hadn’t found her mate!”
I couldn’t help but let out a cold laugh. “Just so you know, the three of us are her mates. That gown and necklace? I bought them for her. And the person who dropped her off? He was our friend. Ever heard of Alpha Chase?”
Her eyes widened in shock, and she seemed to freeze in place. The way she accused Chase of being an old man was kinda entertaining, and I would have smirked if this were any other situation. Maybe next time I see him, I should taunt him with it.
