Casey was close by. He could feel it in every fiber of his being. He could feel the connection too. It was very weak, to weak to try to communicate, but it was there.

Shane turned to Lane. “My wolf can sense Casey and I caught her scent. It is super faint, but it is there. I can feel the connection with her ever so slightly, but it is too weak to try to communicate. We need to call father and figure out what he wants to do with this,” he said as Lane pulled out his phone.
