Sebastian ran from the room, closely followed by Isaiah and Shane. Lidia wasn’t far behind, but because she was still sobbing, she wasn’t running as fast. They came across a small group of pack members at the base of the stairs.
“Where is Willow?” Sebastian demanded, as he stepped off the bottom stair.
“She is in the medical room. She is examining the body of Alpha Retrey and she asked not to be disturbed,” one of the men spoke up. “Is everything okay, Alpha?”
“I don’t know yet. Thank you,” Sebastian said, rushing down the hall to the medical room. Over his shoulder he asked Lidia, “Does Willow know?”
“No, Alpha. I couldn’t bring myself to be the one to tell her,” Lidia said, her voice cracking.
