“Are you sure that the witch is dead? Has anyone been down to the dungeon since Shane was found?” Sierra asked Isaiah as they stepped out the door of the medical bay. They had sat with Shane and talked with him for quite some time to make sure that he really was okay. Then Grady gently mentioned that Shane needed to get some rest, as did everyone that was in the medical bay for observation that night.
“No, I haven’t tried the door since I was told that Shane was found. I guess that I can go check now. I will join you afterwards in our quarters,” Isaiah said, kissing his mate on the forehead.
