His lips turned into a smirk as he caged me in with his body between the wall and him.  I just had to open my big mouth. "Are you sure about that?" He asked, bracing a hand on either side of me. A tactical gambit to intimidate me but unfortunately for him, it didn't do much intimidation. "I bet that I can make you fall in love with me." He challenged.  For a nanosecond, his words did catch me off guard. I for one rarely knows about love for the opposite s*x when it comes to romance and intimacy.  I lifted my eyes to meet his gaze. "You aren't really my type." He looked at me with a smug smile. Almost as if he saw right through me and knew that I was lying.  "You wanna bet on that?” He asked, his smirk turning into a smile. "Like a dare?" I questioned, arching an eyebrow His striking blue eyes gleamed with curiosity. "What do you know about dares?" I basically thrive on dares and bets because I always win but when it comes to love. I was a bit unsure of how this would play out between us. I've never loved someone besides my friends and my father. In order to love. You have to trust. My mom kind of ruined my trust issues.  "Enough, to know that I can win this." How hard can it be? Not falling in love. I got this one in the bag.  He looked a bit startled but covered it up quite fast. "So, bring it on." I challenged, feeling kind of bold. He seemed impressed. "Game on."  It all started with an innocent bet. One that changed my life forever. I wasn’t looking for love or an innocent fling when I relocated to Los Angeles. I was just a newly graduated teenager who was starting her life as a student when Travis Richards had to enter my life with a lot of warning labels. My mind ignored every single one of them. He was bad news. He even reeked of bad news but yet, here I am. Having no control of my feelings.
