Chapter 30Fenella Church Asserts Herself
Ross waited patiently for the phone to be answered. Ferris had given Drake the name of a friend of his at Thames Valley Police Headquarters who he'd liaised with in the past. Detective Sergeant Shannon Rice finally picked up the phone and was surprised to hear from a DI from Liverpool, until Ross mentioned Ferris.
“Ah, so you're Paul's guvnor? He told me a lot about you when we worked together a couple of years ago.”
“Yes, he told my sergeant all about you, and how he helped your people out with a drug smuggling case.”
“That's right. How can I help the famous DI Ross?”
Ross laughed and went on to explain to Rice what he was interested in.
“Forbes & Ryan? Never heard of them, but I can do a little digging for you. I'm sure my guvnor won't mind
