Devenish next called Izzie Drake, who was still in the Prior's office. She was happy for him to take the car, as she estimated she'd be some time with Brother Gerontius, and to call back for her when he'd seen the lady, if she happened to be at home.
After next informing Brother Simon of his intentions, Devenish set off for the home of Eileen Burke, arriving just as she pulled up outside her home in a red ten-year-old Nissan Micra. He realised she was the woman he needed to speak to as she exited the car, removed two bulging shopping bags from the boot, and walked up to the front door of the house, using her key to gain entry.
