"No.. you.. weren't meant to be a part of this, you should have been destroyed!" shouted the broken man.

"Not me, you! think you can flower a rage, then manipulate it to your will? what you started will soon be sparked on you, they didn't come here to unite your will, they came to unite theirs, and it begins with the end of monsters like you!" shouted Rebecca to which the people cheer as they soon start to turn against the broken man who looks around suspiciously.

"Fine, if that's how you wanna play it." said the broken man who starts to run off into the end of his balcony and leaps while his skin's broken parts starts to glow in purple as he begins to transform into something, revealed to be a red skinned body of a lion that burst itself out of human skin while having the head combusted half with his own face as well as the face of a lion, his body is filled with marks of ancient satanic verses that glows in the warmth blood of fire as well as a tail that sprung of poisonous spines while he stands tall, at the size of ten men.

"You have got to be kidding me." said Lucien, astonished by seeing a demon for the first time in his life while it ragingly roars almost like a lion, but voice crackles with splinters of a snake slithering.

"What the hell are you?" asked Rebecca as this monster takes a observation of himself in doubtfulness.

"I... I don't know, he promised me power, it.. changed me.." said the monster while Lucien finds himself even more dazzled than before. "It can talk, you can talk, by the way, who do you mean as he? it's not some skinny fellow named Klaus is it?" asked Lucien while signaling Rebecca to prepare themselves while he distracts. "

Klaus.. Azriel, should be the least.. of your concern, you have no idea what is coming." said the monster. "Well, father who turned himself into a giant manticore stuff or something, enlighten us." asked Lucien.

"Why bother? I'm just gonna kill you anyways, your majesty." said the monster with a grin as he lunges towards Lucien while he attempts to grapple back and fight.

"Vampires! now! rest of you, get the hell out of here!" shouted Rebecca who starts firing at the manticore while it fights Lucien, and despite Rebecca's order, many humans stayed together with the vampires in order to fight this monster, despite their insistence to stay put.

"You are strong.. I'll give you that." said Lucien who continues fighting down the manticore while it tries to leap and s***h at him using its claws which fails due to his quick reflexology.

"Bet you can't beat me, when you.. arghh, s**t! the tail!" shouted Lucien who ultimately gets hold on by the tail of the manticore which tightens its grip as it wraps around him completely, getting ready to end him with a single hit by its tip, until several vampires start throwing spears broken from the metal fences onto the manticore, one of it which sinks close to the tail of the manticore to which it screams as it fights the vampires.

"Ouch! that's gotta hurt." said Lucien who gets thrown into mid air who somehow managed to gain a grip on the surface using a very spear itself as to which he then targets himself back for another round with the manticore.

"That was fun, ready for another round?" asked Lucien who was about to go until a shout comes from beside. "Wait!" shouted a feminine voice, revealed to be Rebecca.

"You.. Rebecca?" asked Lucien.

"Yes... me, you can't beat him, not with this, you need something better." said Rebecca. "Got any ideas?" asked Lucien. "There." said Rebecca showing the church. "There is a axe, big one, two handed, enough to chop this bastard's head by two." said Rebecca.

"Great, where exactly can I find this axe in the church? is it over by the holy relics?" asked Lucien. "Yep, you can't miss it." said Rebecca to which Lucien nods and sprints away towards the church to find the axe as Rebecca awaits.

Meanwhile, in parts unknown within the desert, a swarm of ships are seen flying across the forgotten borders, as they are seen heading straight, led by none other than Mikeala herself, who opens up transmission.

"Hope you'll had a good night sleep, especially humans because we had no choice, one of our technicians managed to find the heart of where the signal's coming from the kidnappers, but before she could lock on and hack it, it went offine, my guess is that they know we are coming, and they are well prepared for it, so keep in mind to never hold back, kill everyone on sight you see, the only people that should be left alive are the royal family, that is, if they are there, understand?" asked Mikeala to which soldiers within her ship chant.

"Great, I'll take that as a yes." said Mikeala as she ends the transmission and awaits while they closely reach their destination, revealed to be the exact place Darren previously invaded by chance.

Soon, as each ships take weapons to load and fire onto, they notice none of the targets are appearing to show any type of heat signatures, and not a single sound of heartbeat could be heard, except for one which Mikeala finds herself shocked and confused.

"Ma'am, so far we detected only one hostile for now, there are others, but they aren't showing any heat signatures at all." said the technician onboard within the ship.

"They're dead.. someone killed them." said Mikeala. "Could be.. or could be a trap, what do you want us to do?" asked the technician. "Land all ships towards a safe distance, install the rest to guard them while I scour the place with Squad Six." said Mikeala.

"Yes ma'am, as you wish." said the technician who proceeds on her orders while Mikeala awaits. Soon, the ships land at a distance from the fort, in which they come out to see nearly hundreds of bodies pilling across, having ripped to shreds by something demonic which trails within the fort.

"Stay here, Squad Six, with me." said Mikeala who proceeds to go towards the trail, carefully treading each steps with caution until she reaches the destroyed gate which she kicks off.

"With me.. under any circumstances, do not.. hold on, what the..." continued Mikeala as she stands breath taken when the number of bodies that were outside, were actually twice in number within, but all while so, the one stop of all, revealed to be an actual living vampire, revealed to be Darren himself, bathed in blood, and awaits with the weapon he used to kill everyone inside.

"This can't be.. Darren?" asked Mikeala.

"Mikeala, took you long enough." said Darren as he got himself up from the bodies and starts walking in with his legs, shoulders sprained by the battle which is slowly healing.

"What in the bloody hell are you doing here? where the hell were you?" asked Mikeala. "Might be easier to tell if your men aren't showing their guns towards me, I haven't left a single soul alive in here." said Darren as he walks to which Mikeala sighs and orders everyone to stand down while Darren goes off to slip.

"Darren!" shouted Mikeala who runs off to catch him before he falls, only to get disgusted by his whole body having ridden in blood. "God! blood.. everywhere, it's not even yours.. what the hell happened here?" asked Mikeala.

"I.. fell from space, cracked up a few bones, went and asked for help, then they started shooting at me for no reason, took me a few minutes to understand they were actually our enemies, then my.. other side showed up, and now.. I guess it's for the greater good, who were they?" asked Darren.

"Kidnappers, terrorists of sorts, they took control by k********g the royal family and demanded for ransom, then some of them set fire to the whole city." said Mikeala. "Kleham is on fire?" asked Darren. "Yup, don't worry, Lucien and Helsing are already on the job." said Mikeala.

"Lucien is alive? how?" asked Darren. "What do you mean alive? he was dead?" asked Mikeala. "He died, in space, it's a long story." said Darren. "One I'm looking forward to hearing it.. get him to rest, I'll have a look around." said Mikeala, handing him over to her troops who carry him.

"Be careful." said Darren. "You're telling me that? Huh, fine.. get him to medical, rest of you, with me." said Mikeala taking the squad into the base itself.

Soon, after scouring within this dark hole, they find themselves leading into the very place from where the kidnappers were transmitting their signals from, in which Mikeala gets relieved to find almost all of them dead.

"Looks like we found where were hiding from, shame we came late to the party, have a look around, bring me what you can find." said Mikeala as her squad starts to look around.

Meanwhile, back in Kleham's church, Lucien searches thoroughly across each places, attempting his best to find the axe Rebecca spoke of.

"Come on, where the hell is it? I've looked everywhere!" shouted Lucien, going round and round across each section repeatedly until he stops due to exhaustion.

"Can't miss it my ass!" shouted Lucien, punching his hand onto one of the pillars in which which erupts a crackle.

"Oh dear.." said Lucien as the crackle starts to spread within, destroying through the floor deeply until the church starts to crumble into pieces while the crackle widens it's patch.

"This can't be happening, this mustn't, s**t! Klaus is gonna kill me!" shouted Lucien who sprints off across various places in a attempt to stop the crackle and retrieve all items within to safety before they break into pieces by its destruction.
