Blake stared at Harrison’s back as the brunette was walking toward the familiar yellow Lamborghini. Blake’s eyes were full with guilt. The doctor’s words earlier were still fresh in her head. F L A S H B A C K “Do you feel hurt if I press on it?” the doctor asked Harrison as he pressed on the bruised. Harrison hissed in pain. The doctor nodded to himself, his expression was unreadable. “Is it bad, doctor?” Blake asked worriedly. “I assume the fall was hard,” the doctor looked at Harrison, “You almost break your arm but luckily enough, your bones just cracked but I can’t say it’s good news too. Be careful in the future and restrain yourself from involving in carrying heavy things for the next three weeks. Don’t put too much pressure on your arm,” the doctor advised. Blake nodded in understanding as she absorbed the information into her head, “I’ll apply some cream to sooth the pain,” the doctor spoke while writing something on the patient card. She refocused her vision and saw the latter was looking at her over his shoulder backward. Blake’s eyes fell on the bandaged arm only to make her guiltier than ever. Blake lowered her head, “I’m sorry…” she said inaudibly but enough for Harrison to hear it. Harrison stared at Blake before he heaved out a breath, “Stop being a worrisome. I’m okay,” Blake looked at Harrison and caught the heterochromia orbs were staring at her reassuringly. “I’m going home,” Harrison said as he walked to his car. Blake widened her eyes, ‘he’s going to drive? No, he’ll hurt his arm even more!’ Blake dashed to Harrison and snatched the car keys. “What the—” “I’ll drive for you!” Blake exclaimed. Harrison blinked his eyes repeatedly before he sighed out loudly in annoyance and ran his fingers through his hair. “I told you, I’m okay. I’m capable enough to drive home,” Harrison was going to take the keys from Blake’s grip but Blake firstly hid it behind her back and shook her head. “If you refused to let me, I won’t give your keys to you,” Harrison stared down at Blake with a dangerous death glare that would make people ran away every time he directed his strong cold eyes toward them but Blake would not let the threatening stare to destroy her wall of bravery. Harrison clicked his tongue in pure irritation. He opened the door of the front passenger seat and got in, leaving Blake alone in the middle of the quiet street. “Didn’t you say you want to drive me home, just get in already,” Harrison said without turning to look at Blake. Blake was in a moment of dumbstruck before those pouty lips curved into the widest relief smile ever. It was her first time to drive the expensive car but she could manage it somehow. Blake got in the car and drove home. She glanced at Harrison who had his eyes shut once in awhile. He might be tired from all those fake expressions that he had to wear for the sake of his job. For a moment, Blake thought Harrison was just an ordinary human despite to his unchanging expressionless face and his cold aura. His face showed how much he had suffered. Blake could see the exhaustion that the handsome man was bearing even if it was just for a moment. ‘And because of me, he’s more exhausted than ever,’ Blake thought to herself with guilt. After that, she could hear a soft snore coming from the other man. The drive was full with comfortable silence and after some times, they reached the condominium building. Blake turned off the engine and turned to look at Harrison who had fallen into a deep slumber. She was in hesitance whether to wake Harrison up or not. Even though it was wrong to disturb others sleep but Harrison needed a proper rest on a proper place. “Harris, wake up, we’ve reached,” Blake shook Harrison’s body gently. No response. “Harris—Mmph!” Blake fell on the broad chest as the sleeping man circled his arm around her neck and pulled her down, causing Blake to gasp in bewilderment. “Harris…?” Blake tried to break free but no vain. Blake’s face was in beet red as she could feel the sculpted muscles on the chest and stomach of the sleeping man. Harrison groaned and pulled Blake closer, making Blake more embarrassed than she already was. Harrison slowly opened his eyes and looked down. At the same time, Blake raised her head and their eyes met. Blake’s body went frozen, her eyes locked with Harrison’s cold ones. She wanted to look away as her mind said so but her heart said otherwise. Harrison caught the big doe eyes that were hidden behind those thick black rimmed glasses and was mesmerized by the uniquely beautiful eyes. Harrison’s eyes darkened and deepened as he slowly leaned down. The movement caused Blake to snap out from her lala land and started to resist Harrison. “N-No...” Blake pushed Harrison away weakly. Blake gasped and pink taints spread all over her flawless cheeks when Harrison slid down his arm and encircled around her waist, pulling her closer than necessary to his body. Harrison cupped Blake’s cheek and kissed her deeply on the lips. Blake squeezed shut her eyes in reflex. Harrison sucked on Blake’s lower lip and stuck out his tongue only to trace the tempting pouty lips. Blake felt electric shock shot into her spine when s felt the tip of Harrison’s moist tongue caressed her lips. Blake clutched her fists on Harrison’s chest. Blake felt the same tingly feeling and unconsciously a moan slipped out from Blake’s mouth and as she realized it, she flushed even deeper. Harrison took the chance to thrust his tongue inside and explored the wet cavern possessively. “Hmm…Harris…s-stop…!” Harrison smirked as he nibbled Blake’s lips lastly and pulled away. Blake blushed as she felt the saliva ran down on her chin. Harrison wiped the saliva with his thumb only to lick it afterwards. Blake widened her eyes and her face was as red as tomato. Harrison’s smirk widened and leaned in to lick Blake on her cheek. Blake gasped and covered her cheek. She looked at Harrison with eyes almost popped out from their sockets, “What are you doing?!” Harrison just chuckled lowly and got off the car, leaving Blake who was in a great shock. Blake shook her head and followed Harrison. “Harris…” Blake called out for the man who was now in front of his door. Harrison turned his head to look at Blake. “I…If it’s necessary, I’ll be your helper for the next three weeks,” Blake played with her thumbs in guilt. She had thought of this earlier when she was driving. It was the only way she could think of to repay Harrison for saving her and getting hurt because of her. Silence filled the corridor before a sound was heard; a sound of someone who was gritting his teeth and it was no other than Harrison Lee. “Don’t be stupid, I can manage myself,” he said with a hint of annoyance or was it? Harrison took out his keys with his injured arm and hissed in pain when he accidentally put a pressure when he was unlocking the door. He unclenched his fist causing the keys to slip off his grip and fell on the floor. Blake bent down and took the keys before putting it back on Harrison’s hand, “Please?” she looked at Harrison with her begging puppy eyes. Harrison frowned before he looked away. “You asked for it and don’t blame me if something happen to you,” Blake beamed Harrison the brightest smile ever. “I won’t! Thanks, Harris!” Blake pounced on Harrison and hugged him causing the other man to widen his eyes at the blunt action. Harrison bit onto his bottom lip. “Yes, yes, now let me go,” Blake grinned at Harrison cutely before she let go of the grumpy guy. Harrison unlocked the door using his other hand. “And call me Harrison,” he said before he stepped into his condominium and closed the door, leaving the dumbfounded Blake outside. The red shade crawled onto Blake’s cheeks and she cupped the flushing cheeks. “Harrison…” Harrison threw his rucksack at a corner and threw himself on the white couch. He closed his eyes before opening it, staring at the ceiling emptily. He frowned and gritted his teeth, “Damn you, Blake McKay. What have you done to me?” he said as he touched his heart that was beating in a fast pace. He never felt like this before even though he had a lot of flings but Blake McKay had made him experienced a feeling that was odd for him and he knew what the feeling was called. It was…love. Harrison looked at his arms. He still could feel Blake’s warm slim body lingered inside of his embrace. He clutched his fists and ran his fingers through his hair. s**t, he had become weird because of the annoyingly innocent Blake. KNOCK! Harrison’s frown deepened and sat up. He needed some break from the frustration he got from Blake and now there was someone at the outside knocking the door in the middle of the night. Harrison lazily dragged his body to the door and yanked it opened in irritation. “What—!” Harrison’s eyes widened when he saw the face that he longed to touch and hold was standing in front of his door, holding a pot. “What are you doing here, McKay?” Blake grinned. “Aunt make you some stew and she wants you to have it,” Harrison rolled his eyes. “I’m not hungry,” he said shortly but firmly. Blake pouted, ‘Geez, this guy is way too cold. It seems like there’s no other way,’ Blake smiled secretly. “I don’t hear you~” Blake sang as she stubbornly barged into Harrison’s condominium, causing the other guy to be in a state of dumbfound before he swiftly turned around and grabbed the hood of Blake’s sleeveless sweater. “Not so fast. Where do you think you’re going?” he held the hood, preventing Blake from going into his condominium any further. “Going into your place?” Blake gave Harrison her toothy smile. Harrison looked down at Blake gloomily. Seriously, did this girl was just stupidly innocent or just purely a fool for not noticing the hidden desire that he had for her. Harrison thought that perhaps Blake was as dumb as he thought, so dense. Harrison took the pot and pushed Blake out from his condominium, “Out,” he slammed the door in front of Blake’s face. Blake’s eyes squeezed shut in reflex and soon pouted. “Harrison, you i***t,” she mumbled before she stomped into her aunt’s condominium. As he heard the footsteps faded away, Harrison slid down on the floor, messing up his hair. “s**t Harrison, you’ve becoming a pervert because of that dense creature,” Harrison’s face looked so troubled and he cursed once again when he noticed the bulge on his pants. What a great twist. Blake sulked to herself as she slumped on the leather couch and wrapped her arms around her chest while muttering ‘stupid Harrison’, ‘Harrison, you bastard’ and sorts. Scarlett raised an eyebrow at the sulky Blake. “What’s wrong, Blake? Why are you sulking?” Scarlett asked gently as she ran her fingers through Blake’s silky jet-black hair. Blake turned to face her aunt and pouted deeper as she sneaked her arms around Scarlett’s waist and snuggled into Scarlett’s embrace like a spoiled child she was. “Aunt, is that Harrison always cold?” Scarlett chuckled in amusement as she knew what caused her niece to sulk like this. “Why? Did his cold attitude hurt you?” Blake jutted out her bottom lip childishly. “Sometimes,” Scarlett smiled and ruffled Blake’s hair. Blake whined as Scarlett messed up her hair. “Harrison is not as cold as he looks. Trust me,” Scarlett smiled secretly. Blake looked at her aunt in doubt. “How did you know?” she asked suspiciously. Scarlett laughed out loud and cuddled the adorable creature. “Know him better then you know what I’m talking about,” Blake puffed her cheeks but she nodded her head nevertheless since she was curious as well. Was Harrison not as cold as her aunt said? Blake checked the time and it was almost eight in the morning and she shifted her attention back to the next door since she was leaning against the door of her aunt’s condominium. Scarlett had gone to work first since Blake said she had some matter to settle. At eight sharp, the door she had been fixated her eyes on, finally barged opened, revealed the well-built figure of the coldest man on the earth. “Harrison…” Harrison seemed surprised when he saw Blake but he quickly refined his expression. “Why are you still here?” Blake walked toward Harrison and extended her hand. Harrison looked at the hand then at Blake. “What?” “Your car keys please,” Harrison raised an eyebrow. “From now on, I’ll be driving you to work until you’re fully recovered,” Harrison sighed. “You’re so stubborn, Blake McKay,” Harrison walked forward and threw his car keys backward. “Since you insist on being my helper, don’t blame me if anything happen,” Harrison warned before he continued walking. “I won’t!” Blake said confidently and tailed behind Harrison. As Blake drove to the agency, the staffs that were at the outside the agency were all surprised when they saw Blake got down from the much known car around the agency moreover Blake was the one who drove the car of the famous model, Harrison! The staffs could not take their eyes from the two creatures. They would be the extravagant news for the day! It was the first time someone new like Blake could be this close with the cold prince. Blake noticed the stares she got and was in puzzle of why people were staring at them as if they grew another head. “Harrison…” Blake tugged on the hem of Harrison’s sweater. The staffs’ reactions were getting heated when they heard Blake called Harrison by his real name. Harrison looked down at Blake and saw the latter was fidgeting in discomfort at the stares. Harrison looked at the staffs and glared at them, causing the silence to surround the agency at the deathly glare. “Ignore them, let’s go,” Harrison stepped into the agency with Blake followed behind him. As they were walking inside the agency, they could hear some whispers, ‘What’s happening between them? Why they are always together?’, ‘Are they having an affair?’, ‘Is Blake Harris’ lover?’ and some more. Blake just lowered her head and of course Harrison noticed her since they were walking side by side. Harrison stopped on his track and looked over his shoulder, “So what if she’s my lover? That had nothing to do with you guys so just shut up,” Harrison’s sharp words made the staffs to be speechless. Blake was thankful to Harrison for securing her. “Don’t listen to their words. They are just trashes,” Harrison’s words sounded convincing enough to Blake. Blake chuckled softly and smiled sweetly at Harrison. “Thank you, Harrison,” Harrison felt his heart skipped a beat seeing the beautiful smile and gritted his teeth. “Don’t smile like that,” Harrison looked away. Blake blinked and tilted her head aside. Her eyes widened when she saw the light pink taints on Harrison’s cheeks. Was he embarrassed? Blake’s eyes widened even more before she broke in an amused chuckle. Well, Harrison Lee certainly a human and Blake had to admit, Harrison was kind of cute too. “Harrison, are you embarrassed?” Harrison swiftly turned his head to look at Blake and made a weird expression. Blake laughed wholeheartedly. “You’re embarrassed, aren’t you?” Blake wriggled her eyebrows playfully. Harrison just rolled his eyes and could not help himself but to chuckle as well at the playful Blake. Harrison was indeed mysterious and full of surprises. Blake wanted to know more about him but why was that? Was she personally attracted to Harrison? She too would want to figure it out.
