“I don't know.” They said together. “Honestly, Yes, Your Grandfather said that we should start gathering the parts of the ancestor's gem but he did not say where the other fragments were,” Damien said. “Wait, the slime mutators said that they could not surrender that kind of power but I didn't sense anything,” Nya said. “Of course, I can sense the energy from the fragments,” Damien said, He closed his eyes, cleared his mind, and focused on the energy he sensed from the original shard. Slowly, He began to notice the energy of another fragment. It was almost a whole country away but they had to walk. “I can sense the energy,” Damien said, opening his eyes and pointing towards a road. “It's in that direction. But it's very far away.” Damien said. He and Nya had agreed to walk and began walking to the Shard. Meanwhile..... The Old man was breathing. He had thought the final blast would kill him as it drained the final bits of energy from him. He was very tired after that attack though. He stirred remembering the insane amount of energy he released. He could hear screams from the village as this time, the remaining villagers were being attacked by Witches. “Ngh..” He groaned and tried to get up. It was no use, he did not have enough energy for it. He gave up. Suddenly, He heard a voice. 'Rise!' The voice said. “But I cannot, I am completely drained of my energy.” He said. 'Rise! Rise and defend!' The voice said, a little bit higher than before. He tried again but he could not even move his body. 'Rise and Fight!' The voice shouted. The old man mustered all the hidden energy in him and stood up. He was not at full strength. The Vampires left attacking the citizens and rushed at him. Nya's grandfather felt as if Death was already here but then the voice came again, booming sense into him. 'Fight!!!!' The voice shouted. He thought he could not move but that was not the case, He kept letting his body control him, and now that he was letting his spirit control him, He could do more than ever before. His palms glowed in a faint purple. Slowly, the faint purple began to get darker. “Begone!” He shouted. He created a large ball of energy, the ball was purple. He threw it at the stream of vampires coming toward him. It was devastating, killing the whole squadron in one fell swoop. Nya's grandfather panted as he had used much of his energy. He could sense the Ancestor's gem but it was weakened now. “They managed to get the first one!” He exclaimed. 'Your job on this planet is not done. Go!' The voice ordered. Nya's grandfather obeyed and shrouded himself in a purple ball of energy, He shot into the sky. The remaining villagers came out of hiding, Damien's mother was one of them. “How will we survive now? If we stay out here, More of those beasts will come!” She exclaimed to the others. “She is right.” Another said. “Let's get out of here, Into the forest, I know a place where we can stay.” Another villager said, His face looked dead serious. “Let's go!” The villagers said and quickly they retreated into the mountain forest. Through the walk, Beasts had been coming at them from left and right, Nya and Damien had to defend their selves the best way they could and that was by fighting them off. Nya had gained some power and experience from these fights, and Damien himself had gained more sword stability. They were confronted finally by something that was not a beast, It was a human but wearing a Blue Shirt, Black trousers, and a Red headband. His style of dressing was completely lame to Damien. “Beasts!” The Boy shouted. He was about the same age as Nya. His curly hair was outlined by the wind. “Wait, We are not Beasts!” Nya shouted back. Damien scoffed. “Shut Up!” The Boy shouted back silencing Nya. “You'll pay for what you did to my Parents!” The boy shouted. His hands started glowing blue. What would happen to our heroes?
