Vicente “Capitán! THERE’S A PERSON OUT IN THE WATER!” A crew member yelled and almost flung himself over the ship. I was making my way to my quarters when I saw the young man pointing out at the water with a panicked face. “IT’S A WOMAN!” Another crew member yelled. At that, every man on board raced to the edge to see. I looked over as well and saw a floating dress in the distance. “GET A BOAT MEN! GET OUT THERE!” Tito said when he saw the woman floating in the water. Three men got a boat ready while I raced to my room. I brought every blanket I could find and one of my jackets; whoever the woman was would be freezing. I was a gentleman; I had to make sure I could help make her comfortable.
