Ines Vicente’s honey colored eyes were full of concern but they softened at my words. Despite him having explained himself for the horrible things he had said about me, he knew I was still hurt. He hated himself for having spoken such things and he was determined to make it up to me. But despite the pain that still lingered from that night, I couldn’t deny him.
