Esme's P.O.V.
Staying in the chamber that Gabe provided for me brought me peace. I slept good. It's the only time I finally felt the exhaustion after being imprisoned in that dungeon like a rat for like a week.
Rose did not put her eyes away from me longer than a second. She's always watching me like a stalker. Well that's Gabe's order and she's just doing her duty. But it honestly makes me uncomfortable. Imagine someone watching every thing you do.
"Uhmm where is Gabe?" I asked her. She lifted her head to look at me, putting down the book she was reading on the table. I felt bad. I think I disturbed her. "I—I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." I just literally turned from sleeping while facing the wall. I didn't know she was reading.
She smiled creepily. "You mean ALPHA Gabe?"
