Gabe's P.O.V.
"I don't know what happened, Alpha. I left for a moment to bring the dishes into the kitchen when I got back she was already crying. I tried asking her what happened but she's not responding. Forgive me, Alpha..." Rose apologized. I glanced at her with a serious face. I specifically told her to watch over Esme for me.
But I don't think this is her fault.
"I don't blame you, Rose. This is not your fault. You can leave. I'll talk to Esme alone," I calmly told her. She looked at me apologetically. I didn't want to make her feel that way. I know about how Rose feels towards me that's why she's extra sensitive about my reaction. And that is the reason why I try to be extra sensitive about my reaction, too.
