Esme's P.O.V.
"Y—You're alive?" is all I managed to say after seeing her. I unbelievably looked at her from head to heel. I honestly can't believe it. I know that the Mood Goddess told me that they're alive, but I was never sure until I saw... for myself.
She quickly transformed back into her human form to give me a hug. I found myself sobbing in her arms.
"I—I really thought I lost you..." I sobbed. She gently tapped my back, making me cry harder. I'm so happy and I can't contain it. I pulled away from her when I realized that Clavio was standing on the side waiting for us to finish our dramatic reunion. "H—How about Gabe? Did he survive, too? Where is he?" I asked, looking around as if I was trying to find him.
