I stared up at the ceiling. This night had gone by faster than usual. Most nights, I would just lay there, not being able to think of anything, or just watching the seconds tick by on my watch - feeling like the night would never be over and the day would never come.
This night had been different, my mind had been full of thoughts. Meeting with the lord had gone as I expected— he wanted to discuss about the reduction of blood supply. Though the amount of time he had given me to come up with a plan for the situation was so not favorable on my end.
