She woke to the slight sound of the door opening as she noticed the light coming through the window. She looked up to him as she as she slid her fingertips across his cheek as she laid her head back on the pillow as she looked to him.
“You’re up early,” a female spoke as she recognized Nicky’s voice.
“Early riser….plus recognized your scent,” Eva spoke as she got up as she moved to the chair as Nicky closed the door when she walked in as she walked over as handed her a backpack.
“It’s got a change of clothes and some what not’s that you might need,” she says, “Hope it helps.”
“Thank you,” she says as she takes the bag from her as she laid it near the bed.
“Chase said he did pretty good through the night,” she spoke as she checked his levels as well as his sutures among other things.
