Alina couldn't remember how she got home. She was really drunk last night! She couldn't even remember whether her mother had scolded her.
When she arrived at work, Rosie looked at her with annoyance. Alina smiled sheepishly. "Rosie, sorry for last night! I was too drunk to remember anything!"
"You're finally willing to admit that you were drunk?" Rosie was exasperated.
"I was just having fun yesterday!" Alina tried to make up an excuse.
"You don't need to get so drunk to have fun! Don't lie to me. You were thinking about Ken last night. It has been so long ago, furthermore, you are going to get married to a rich young man! You should focus on your future instead of being trapped in the past. Are you reminiscing about your past with Ken because he is coming here to Jameson City?" Rosie
