Leah picked Jackson up at his school and held his hand the whole way home, listening to him recount the interesting incidents that happened at school that day. After chatting with him for a while, she brought up her request.

Leah had given Mrs. Chase’s matter a lot of thought. Her guess was that the scent lingering in Mrs. Chase's mind was somehow related to the soap.
Earlier that afternoon, she had asked Mrs. Chase for the year of her marriage and the name of the soap. However, Mrs. Chase hadn’t been able to answer her second question. Mrs. Chase only said in a regretful tone that the soap was no longer in production and couldn't be bought anymore.
