I finally slept through the night. But when I woke up, the silence around me felt strange. For the past few days, Knox had knocked on my door every morning to remind me to change my bandage. No matter how late he came back at night, he would pause in the hallway to make sure there was still light under my door. Now, no one called me Trouble from downstairs anymore.
