Chapter 5Mida was looking outside through the window. The day she first set foot in this small town was very different from what it is today. A stream of people was moving along the road. They had different looks and different languages. Restaurants were bustling with customers. They conversed in a variety of languages. Language is not an important issue for Mida. She could pick up someone's language in a matter of seconds if she had a chance to scan their brains. In just two days, though, everything had changed. People appeared frightened.
