The night Marcus’ guests were coming I chose a white Christine Dior dress from the walk-in closet. It was a simple close wrap around my hips with a square corset embroidered design across my chest. The corset like feature of the dress was strong enough to allow an off the shoulder sleeve not more than a few inches in width. The length was reasonably short to lie just above my knee. I check my reflection in the mirror of my room. My green eyes against my white skin and my curly red hair made me look Irish. I wore the Winston earrings and the necklace. Their weight against my skin is a clear indication of how much they are worth.    I look at the reflection of the sparkling canary diamonds in the mirror and then to my lips.
