Noon Ben had made a decision and Lia couldn't argue with it. If Ben had some feelings for Felicity, what are the chances that he might fall in love with the mother of his soon-to-be child? It was his problem that he got her pregnant but he couldn't take it out on the baby. He said it so himself that he had feelings for Felicity, they just weren't as strong as the ones he had for he but she knew Ben would be able to love. Felicity walked down the aisle with her father and she really looked beautiful and petite in her wedding dress. She wore a princess ball gown, and there was intricate lacing all throughout the dress. She made it up to the aisle to where Ben was standing and he looked at Lia first who nodded her head to him just subtly. As if he was taking her lead, he took Felicity's hands and placed them in his own as they stood in front of each other. Lia glanced quickly at Jonny who wasn't looking at her but the couple and he looked good. As a matter of fact, handsome in his suit. His dark hair was slicked back and brushed out of his face and he was freshly shaved. As if he felt her gaze, he looked passed Ben and Felicity straight to her. He looked at her for a second and then he looked away and Lia had to wonder what that was. If she was mistaken, he seemed to be in a dark mood and she wasn't sure what the reason behind it was. The clapping brought Lia back to the present and before she knew it the bride and the groom were kissing and everyone in the crowd were clapping for the couple. They all exited through the aisle getting prepared to enter the reception right afterward. It didn't take too long before the reception was taking place, the bride and groom entered the party. Guests mingled within the party and Lia found Tiff at one of the tables. Her friend looked cute in her silver sparkly dress with her hair in an updo. "Hey there sport." She acknowledged. Lia sat next to her in the empty chair that was her mother's. She needed to tell her friend what had happened that morning. It didn't take long for her to tell her and Tiff was right. "I told you, but no one ever listens to the alcoholic." She stated. "So what now, you confess your love to your best friend's brother?" Lia looked around for Jonny and found him sitting with a female guest as they both laughed at something she said. "He's been avoiding me and I don't know why." "You think it might have something to do with him thinking you confessed your undying love to his brother?" Tiff asked as she popped a piece of shrimp into her mouth. "Possibly. I haven't had the chance to talk to him yet." And it didn't seem like she would be able to as left and right they were both dragged in different directions. It wasn't until late into the evening after the bride and groom had their first dance, speeches, and cutting of the cake that everything started to settle down again. A song started playing that Lia knew and she watched as the happy bride and groom stole the dance floor as they danced followed by couples who slow danced to the tune. "Dance?" A hand offered to her right and she was surprised to find Jonny standing there. She watched his hand and then grabbed it. They stood on the dance floor and his hand fell to her lower back as her right hand was enclosed by his much larger one. "I told him." Lia whispered to Jonny and he watched her, not commenting on it. "Oh I saw." He finally said and she tensed. He didn't see the kiss did he? By the way she felt his hand tighten over hers, she had to assume so. "Look-" Before she could explain, he drew a breath. "I knew that Ben liked you. But seeing as he still married Felicity something must have happened. Something that changed and it was either he was a bad kisser or something much deeper." Lia laughed and said, "He told me something. Is it true that you like me?" She almost stopped breathing as if she was waiting for him to reject her and let any feelings that she had for the Kellar family to stop there. She didn't expect him to say anything as a few seconds passed on by. Finally he said, " I don't deny it." The song ended and as if the DJ was sensing that they weren't ready to part another slow song played right after but Lia was to enraptured by Jonny to realize her surroundings. "Then why did you let me say what I wanted to Ben, how come you didn't tell me?" She asked. He shrugged his shoulders, "You were still in love with my brother. If you both felt the same about each other, why should I be the breaker and let my feelings be known." She shook her head, "Your brother does and so do I, but I realized something- I loved Ben sure. He was always my safety net, but I feel something for you." At this point what did she have to lose. "The s*x was that good?" He asked her with a smirk on that face of his. Lia rolled her eyes at him and she didn't say anything but she saw that his eyes were on her lips which made her look to his. She wanted him to kiss her and she really wanted to feel the softness of them. As if he was reading her thoughts his head started to move lower towards her and she then felt his lips on hers. His warm mouth felt hot against hers and she put her hands around his shoulders. There was a round of whooping and clapping and she remembered where they were. "I need to get us out of here. I want you bad" He whispered against her ear as they continued to dance and he felt her face hiding in his dress shirt. She only nodded her head but she didn't say anything. When the song ended, Lia rushed to her friend's table and tried to hide the fact that she did just kiss Jonny in front of everyone and all who attended the wedding from their small town, was definitely going to go through the grapevine. "Took you guys long enough." Tiff said sipping on her drink. "What is that supposed to mean?" Lia asked wondering if her friend saw something that she didn't. "He totally had the hots for you...you're really telling me you didn't notice it? All the times he was alone with you. All the times I ditched you guys so I wasn't the third wheel. He slept at your place almost the whole time we have been here. C'mon Lia, you're losing your touch." Lia thought about it for a long second. True, Jonny was literally everywhere that she was. And he was always there when she needed help, in the past and present. He was always there. How could she have been so blind? It might have been because she was so hung up on Ben to even notice Jonny liking her. "Heads up, lover boy is on his way here." Lia looked up and sure enough Jonny was on his way over. He took a seat next to the pair and rubbed his palms on his pant suit. "Are you sure you like her, she can be kind of dense." Tiff asked him. He smiled and the way his warmth seeped into Lia made her nervous. "No doubt, Lia can we talk?" "Say no more Lover boy, I get the cue." Tiff said and got up from her seat and went to find her favorite best man this trip. "I mean alone, away from the crowd." He told her and Lia quickly shook her head. At Jonny's confused look, she said, "If I leave with you now, the chances of us having s*x are high and we might end up not coming back. I want to at least see Ben's whole wedding out." She said finding any excuse that she can to be alone with him. Jonny nodded his head and offered her a drink in which she accepted. A few hours later, Lia watched Ben and Felicity walk away into the hotel. The crowd that was bidding them goodbye threw flowers behind the two. There was a shout telling the couple to start on a baby and Lia could only think that they were already one step ahead. She wondered when the baby was supposed to be born. They helped the couple with their gifts and it was a little after eleven when it was time for her to take her leave. Everyone was staying in the hotel for the night so that any inebriated guests didn't have to drive home. "Ready?" Jonny walked up to her and she nodded her head. Her nerves were starting to get the better of her and she couldn't explain why. He grabbed her hand and laced their fingers together. "I'm on the fourth floor." He said guiding her towards the elevator. "Wait-but my clothes are in my room." She told him. She was sharing a room with Tiff and another bridesmaid. "I just want to talk."
