Seeing who my queen had married I did not begrudge her, he was everything she needed and deserved, she finally had a beautiful smile permanently on her face. I loved that she was happy but a deep part of me wished she was my own. The day Alex was born i enjoyed the feel of her in my arms. Now that Garet was back I stayed away from them for the most part. They both extended the invite to come along home and simply sail with them. they were going to leave before the weeks end now that Cole's ship was ready for sailing. Cole and i got along as well as they had when they were younger. So Cole asked me if would sail with him and let Ruby go with Garet. I was more than willing to take that deal, I found I would not to have to see the girl of his dreams in the other mans arms on a constant. Though I would have sailed with them just to sail I knew I could keep myself busy no matter what ship I ended up on. I had already been aboard Cole's ship and met the other shipmates. I knew some of them and those that I knew all said their respects towards my mother. I asked a few what their thoughts of Captain Red and I saw everyone of them smile and tell me the queen had picked well making her the new queen. This made me relax some, I knew if my mother had picked well then I would not have to step in and do anything. If I could have my way I simply wanted to be on the ocean...

I talked to Roland and told him that it was my want to sail. Roland argued a bit but he knew deep down that this had always been my Destiny. He was concerned his daughter would not allow it but I told him that Clive was just as good for her as any if not better, there was an obvious attraction there. When asked if Gwen liked Clive the woman actually shut up so her father asked Clive his opinion and by that evening they were engaged to be married by weeks end as well. So naturally Clive asked his Brother to stay and witness his union before sailing home. Garet agreed and congratulated his new sister to the family. I saw Ruby off to one side as the celebration was commencing. She was holding Alex as she danced, I was mesmerized by her graceful movements. As I approached she smiled sweetly, my frown deepens though I did not say word at first. I just stared at her as she continued to dance. I could remember watching her when we were younger, I find i'm still amazed at how she was more graceful dancing than she ever was walking. I saw her stop and walk closer to me, as she got directly in front she looked up and asked "What is on your mind?" Startled I answered with out thinking... "I'm feeling something and its about you but i do not understand it..." Laughing softly she touched my cheek and then I saw a sadness cross her eyes. "Its called love Collin.... " With that she turned and walked away. She did'nt look back at me nor did I stop staring at her, was she right did I love her?
