Making sure I get Freedom
Ruby I wake up and try hard to sit up, I realize my entire body is in pain but no area more so than my head. There is weight around me moaning I turn and find I am in Caveman's arms. I see him wake up and hear him whisper that I am safe. I feel him get up and I try again to sit up, I become dizzy as I start to fall backward I feel Caveman wrap an arm around my waist and he holds me against his body I then realize he is handing me something to take, I taste laudanum. Caveman lays me back down on the bed, "Go to sleep and heal Angel." Even in all of my pain I realize my situation has changed, I need to escape is the last thing I remember thinking before the medication made me drift of into sleep...
