I was lost at sea, I had floated for awhile before a ship and picked me up. They were pirates but not the ones from my loves group. They were hostile at first but it was easy for me to best their captain. He was a short scrawny man, but I could not believe how dumb the man truly was. It took no time to knock him out then take his place. When the man awoke he tried to tell the pirates to apprehend me however they had all decided to follow me since i showed my strength. Ruby was on my mind. She had found her way into my heart and now that she probably heard I was dead I knew I had to get back to her. The babe was due soon Garet thought sadly. last time he and Ruby had been together they fought She was going on about a bad feeling and now Garet knew why she always trusted in her feelings. It had been over a month of sailing since I found the south islands and heard Ruby had gone north to my countrymen. So instead of waiting behind for her return I asked the crew to follow me, they of course were excited to see who my Queen was, we had been telling stories of our adventures and most of mine are of her. Garet called out to his gods to help him find his wife before she truly did mourn his loss. On their way around Dragon Isle Garet caught sight of Cole's ship, it was being repaired and he knew with out a doubt he was where he needed to be. Now to hope she wont be mad enough to send him away he thought.... They went ashore and Garet came across Cole and some other man that looked like he was a misplaced Heathen. Cole caught me up that the babe was born and she was healthy, when i inquired about Ruby he told me to go look for my self. The one named Collin showed me to a cabin, I knocked wondering what was on the other side. She opened the door, Her hair was a mess, and her dark circles beneath the eyes told me she hadn't slept in days. Her tears had started to form at the corners of those green eyes i missed so much. "Hush Lil Red, I'm here now my love, I whispered the tears were falling but she easily stepped into my arms, without hesitation i picked her up. she was lighter than i remembered and i prayed she had been eating right. I knew she was a stubborn woman sometimes. suddenly there was a small crying noise. I carried my love with me as i went to investigate. when i set her down Ruby picked up the child and handed her to me. As tough as i have always been the sight of this child made me melt. I looked up and my tired love and ordered her to bed, i held my beautiful daughter who she named after her mother and myself. For the first time in months i felt happier than i had. My wife then pulled me to the bed with her. willingly i went with her, to have her fall asleep in my arms, let feel her weight on me. i had dreamed of this the whole time we were separated. i just hoped she would be willing to go home and i could continue to be there with my two girls. Sighing i fell asleep listening to her breath...
