Third person’s POV

After the meeting with the Blackwell and Hayes famiy about Grayson and Vanessa's engagement,they started planning the wedding.

Shirley became a total ghost in the house, when she goes out nobody noticed, even when she comes back.

Today was no different, Shirley was getting use to it she got dressed for work as usual she left the house and she was greatful that nobody saw, because she didn't have time for any one right now.

On her way to work she decided to stop by in the hotel her co-worker stay to give her the things she asked for. On her way inside the hotel when she was go to the reception, she spotted someone familiar stand with a man not far from her.

She immediately recognize the person,it was Vanessa who took the love of her life. But here she was in another man's hands.

She moved to hide behind some people so she could get a clear picture.

When she looked at the man that is with Vanessa, she recognize him as the leader of a notorious gang, Kelvin. She decided to watch them for a while, thankful she could here there conversation.

“Baby you don't have to worry, I don't like him, I'm just using him. I want him to take responsibility for our child.” Vanessa said and Shirley was shocked, she never expected Vanessa to be pregnant for another man and still trying to marry another man to force the child on him.

“Babe I don't know about this your plans, but know that I love you and protect you, maybe I don't have money now but soon just give me time.”Kelvin said.

" Gosh Kelvin are you really kidding me right now, yes I know you love me, but taking care of me and the baby isn't what you can do, sorry but no offense if my father finds out I had been secretly seeing you, or finds out I'm having your child, he'll disown me and I'm not ready to leave my life with a poor man”. Vanessa said and Shirley could noticed the change in the expression of the man.

She wondered why man still wants Vanessa when she probably doesn't and she still insulting him.

“Baby don't feel angry about anything, how about this, once I make him sleep with me, I'll blame him for the child and after the marriage, I'll divorce him and half of his properties will become mine and then we'll get married with our child and his money”. Vanessa said and Shirley couldn't believe this is what Vanessa actually planned, she was very heartless.

When Shirley noticed they where looking at her direction she quickly hid her face so they wouldn't see her.

When Shirley looked back, they where not there anymore, she looked around but there was no sign of them.

Shirley checked her phone to see if everything recorded, and luckily it did.

When she went back to the reception, her phone started ringing that's when she remembered what she came here for. It was her co-worker, she called and Shirley told her something came up and she left urgently and she had left the stuff in the reception office.

When she got to work she was very late but she made up an excuse, that needed the day off, she felt disgusted and couldn't concentrate on her work,so she was granted the day off.

When she got home, she met only her mother and Grayson's mother,they where planning the event so they didn't notice her.

She went to the kitchen to get a cold drink to calm herself.

The door open and Grayson, my brother and his friends came in, followed by Vanessa.

Shirley wonder how Vanessa still have the guts to come here after being with another man and unknowingly exposed her motives.

“Mom, will be celebrating Grayson's wedding today, there's gonna be a party for bachelor's only, the bride and other girls ain't allowed”. Ethan said to my mom and his friends started laughing.

" Ethan it's not fair,why wouldn't I be allowed, and where are you hosting it” Vanessa said putting on a pity face.

“You're not supposed to know, Grayson is not yours for today, his going to party and have fun as a single man today, but his yours from tomorrow till death do you guys apart and in the meantime hang out with your friends if you have any,or help mom's in the event planning”Ethan said winking at Vanessa.

“How about I go out for shopping while you guys party”. Vanessa said smiling that's when Shirley realize Vanessa's scheme, Vanessa wanted to use Grayson's money for shopping of clothes before they marry and probably she'll meet Kelvin from there.

“Honey, if that's going to keep you happy I'm okay with it, after all we're getting married and you'll go for shopping more”Grayson said before kissing Vanessa. Vanessa blushed when everyone started hailing them. Shirley looked at them and wondered how Grayson would react when he knows the truth about Vanessa schemes.

When Grayson and his friends left, Shirley went upstairs, when she was about to enter her, she saw Vanessa staring at her with the looks that can kill before entering her room.

Shirley was shocked by Vanessa's attitude, Vanessa had always subdued Shirley's presence when ever their in the same space.

Shirley got inside and changed to her usual sleeping outfit and tied her hair into a bun, she tried sleeping but it wouldn't come.

She was fustrated by she couldn't caught a sleep, and she didn't know why it was happening.

She decided to start a new design of clothes,at least to occupy herself and to force herself to sleep.

About an hour later, Shirley heard her room door open, she remembered she hadn't lock it when she had entered.

She was expecting her mom or her brother, but she was shocked because it wasn't any of them. It was Grayson.
