“ That should teach you how to keep your mouth shut” Miss poina says, Sabrina screams, and runs out of class.
“ Anyone else have something to say about my name?” she asks in a very daring manner. Everyone shakes their head as a no. I raise my hand up. She turns to me, and smirks while cleaning her hand with a cloth.
“Yes Melanie” she says. I am so shocked right now, how the heck did she know my name?
“ Who are you?” I ask very serious.
“ Hell's fury” she replies, looking right into my eyes. What the hell? She suddenly starts laughing.
“ Just kidding, I am your new History teacher. I do hope we get along, and of course avoid disrespecting me” she smiles then turns to the board.
I slowly sit back down. There is something seriously wrong here, this teacher means bad new. I need to know more about her but how?
“ I think she means bad too” Callisto murmurs while jabbing my side with her elbow. I turn to her with a raised eyebrow.
“ Her name says it all” she adds.
“ Despoina Enyo, what the heck does that mean?” I ask.
“ Mistress of Horror” Callisto replies. I look sharply at the teacher who is staring at me with a side smile.
“ Why the hell is she in Desire's Hills?” I ask kinda terrified
“ That is what I don't know” Callisto says.
“ Talking in my class now are we?” Miss poina asks facing us.
“ None of your business. Just teach and leave” Callisto snaps rudely. Miss poina chuckles, and start walking towards her. She raises her finger to cut her, I don't know why but I grab her hand.
“ Don't you dare” I growl. She laughs, walking back to the board.
“ Be careful don't let her cut you” I whisper to Cal.
“ Was never planning on it” She smirks.
After some time the bell rings. I quickly rush out of class to the restroom after that I go for my next class. The day goes in a blurry, and before I know it the bell rings for school over.
“ Melanie hold up” Cal calls behind me.
“ What's up?” she asks as soon as she gets beside me.
“ Umm nothing, I am just going home” I reply a bit confused on her question.
“ Aren't we going to research about the history teacher?” she asks in whispers.
“ Ummm are we suppose to do that?” I ask a bit lost.
“ Of course we are. She could mean harm and we have to stop her at all cost” she says menacely. She sure sounds confident for a human.
“ Ok where do we start?” I ask. I guess we have to look into her to avoid surprises plus I really do hate the way she stares at me.
“ The library” I raise my eyebrows at her. The what?
“ That place is full of junks and rubbish, we literally won't find anything there” I whisper yell. She smirks.
“ Are you sure?” she asks slowly. Is there something I don't know.
“ Come with me” and she says dragging my hands running towards the library.

“ What do you think they are up to?” you a girl asks behind the pillar where Melanie and Callisto just left.
“I do not know” the other girl says her voice slurring like one who is been controlled.
“ Let's report to master” the third girl says. They all turn, the marks on their cheeks evident like they had just been scratched by a sharp nail.

“ What is this place?” I ask a bit irritated. We are in the library but at the extreme end in one of the tables. Underneath the rug there is a door that leads to a passage.
I have always wondered why it's just that side of the library that has a rug now I know. It's extremely dark, dusty and full of webs.
“ It's an ancient library. This is where all the history of the supernatural are kept. Its been here for thousands of years, and you can find what ever you seek her” she whispers. Putting on two torches, she hands one to me.
“Why do you sound like am old wizard and how the heck do you know this place?”I ask frantically, y heart beating faster than before.
“What are you so scared of? Your heart is literally about to blow out” Cal says snorting loudly.
“ How did you know?” I ask. I am beginning to suspect her, is she also a supernatural? How did she know this place? Who is she?
“Here we are” I look up to see a door with a steel big handle. She hands her torch to me, grabs the steel and turns it. The door makes a loud creaking sound as she pulls the door.
We walk in, everywhere is pitch black. I shine the torch around, damn how long has this place been abandoned. I hear a click, I turn to the sound. The place becomes suddenly becomes bright, oh she turned on the light.
“ How long has this place been like this?” I ask curiously.
“Thousands of years I guess”
“So what exactly are we looking for?” I ask shaking my head.
“ Anything that has to do with that b***h” she snorts.
“ Howww??? We literally know nothing about her duh” I say matter of factly. Like how do we do something when we know nothing.
“ Stop being dumb. We know her name, I do have some little knowledge on history. From what I know that name had a huge shake in history, Despoina Enyo which means Mistress of Horror.
Thousands of years ago, I think she had an affair with the Alpha King of the supernatural. Search around let's see what we can find and please keep your voice down” she explains, I sigh we'll there is no harm in trying right?
I look round the shelf the books are really dusty, and there is about a thousand of books here, so which is the right one?
After searching for about an hour we decided to take a break. I sat beside one of the shelves leaning my back on it. I turn my head and a book catches my attention.
“ I found it” I yell excitedly. Cal rushes over using her hand she shushes me, staring at the book in my hands which had MISTRESS OF HORROR boldly written on it.
“ Open it and read lowly please” it she urges, OK why does she want us to be quiet.
I flip open the first page, the writing is beautiful.
“During the reign of the first king in the supernatural world, there was a maid who served the King's wife.
Despoina was loved dearly by the King's wife but unknown to the King's wife, Despoina hated her because she was in love with the King and knew her feelings would never be reciprocated.
She hated the King's wife for that and plotted so many evil against her, but all her plans failed and the couples lived happily or so the world thought.
The King's wife was unable to bear the King a child, so the Queen desperate for a heir offered her most trusted maid which was Despoina, to bear the King a heir.
She did it happily and indeed got pregnant for the King. The Queen was happy but soon became sad because ass soon as she took in sheer demanded to be the King mistress as she could no longer be a maid when carrying the heir to the supernatural” I stop to take a breath.
“ I think the Queen shot herself in the leg” Cal says grinning. I roll my eyes at her.
“ The maid now mistress birthed a baby girl and was so angry that it wasn't a boy. She hated the child, but then realised that as the only child she could she become the heir.
Her hope was crushed when the Queen took in and birthed a baby boy, who the King announced as the heir.
Despoina was furious and did all she could to kill the King's wife and her child. She almost succeeded, but before she could the King ripped her head from her body.
Even in death Despoina swore to kill all the descendant of the DAMOKLES family” I stop, that's where it ends. How??
We hear a creak, I snap my head to the direction but saw nothing.
“ Umm I am so sorry Mel I should have told you. I did hear the keeper of this library is mean and kills unwanted guests” Cal whispers.
“What????” we are so dead.
“ Who dares come here unwanted” a deep voice booms.
