Intruder

Roe After a very tiring yet exciting and fun day, exploring the city, we are ready to call it a day. All we can think of is a warm bath to relax our tired muscles. So after we ate our early dinner, we went back to our hotel. But when we got to our room, we were shocked to see our it trashed. "What the heck?!" I exclaimed and then turned to my best friends. "Tell me you guys did that." I said. Tricia and Candice has always been like this. They have this habit of trashing the room whenever they are in a hurry. "Nope. That isn't our doing." Tricia said looking around.. "Yeah. And knowing you, I'm pretty sure your things weren't out of place when we left. " Candice said. I looked at my side of the room. And indeed my things were scattered around. I hate clutter, so seeing my things all over the place is enough to convince me that someone else did this. I ran towards my stuff to check if there is anything missing. I sighed in relief when I confirmed that nothing was taken. "Was there anything missing?" I heard Tricia asked. I shook my head. "Who the hell did this? I'm not even thrilled." Candice hissed, glaring at the stuff around. I also looked around until my eyes landed on a single blue rose on top of my bed. I walked towards my bed and picked up the rose. In seconds Tricia and Candice were beside me. "Isn't that?" Tricia started but Candice stopped her. I felt my body shook. "He's been here. If not him, one of his minions." Candice said. The rose fell from my hand, and I felt my knees gave out. Candice and Tricia held on to me and made me sit on the edge of the bed. "Are you okay?" Candice asked, and I nodded. "Why won't he just let you be?" Tricia said, worried. "You know why, I have something he wants." I told her, grabbing the watch I'm wearing. I heard the two of them sigh. "Maybe we should transfer to another room. " Candice suggested. "Yeah, we should do that. We won't let that bastard ruin our dream vacation." Tricia said. I nodded and we begun packing our things. While doing so, I still couldn't believe this is happening. How did he find me? Why would he always ruin me? ••••••••••••••••••••••• Due to Candice's insistent demand in the lobby, the staff agreed to transfer us to a different room, after we reported what happened. We were currently unpacking in our new room, but I still feel a bit shaken up. Maybe he's the one watching me when we were in Kremlin, that's why I felt very uneasy. I badly wanted to curl in a ball and cry. I worked so hard to escape my past. The only past that I could remember. And yet here it is, back to bite me in the ass. I grabbed the necklace I'm wearing. This necklace that has a ruby shaped as a feather as a pendant, has been with me since I woke up in the orphanage. My adopted parents said this necklace is my key to my past. Holding into the pendant somehow comforts me. This turn of events left me scared. Not just for my life but for my friends as well. I'm sure this won't be the last, he will follow me anywhere. He won't rest until he gets what I have in possession. ••••••••••••••••••••••• Lykos Lynox and I are eager to find who dare to enter our mate's room. So now, we are in the security room trying to find the right footage. Our Lycans has been on edge and they're close to taking over and rip the throats of the incompetent guards assigned in the surveillance monitors. "How long does it take to find that damn footage?!" Lynox growled. The guards are wolves from our pack, and of nearby ones. They cowered in fear as my brother and I emits the a dangerous aura that any supernatural creature can feel. I tried to maintain my cool since two uncontrollable lycans can be very destructive. Lynox and I have our lycans on their supreme form. You know the huge bipedal wolves, like in the movies. Unlike Creon's supreme lycan form who's very feral and destructive, our lycans has its mind in sync with ours. Even though our lycans seemed to be tamed, they are the most dangerous especially when their leash snap. I pinched the bridge of my nose and took a deep breath to calm myself. "Just find it already!" I exclaimed. The guards flinched, then Lynox turned to me. "I can no longer take the suspense brother. I wanted to rip the throat of whoever break into our mate's room." Lynox hissed. "I understand brother, I feel the same. But lashing out won't do us good. Let's just try to be patient." I said with gritted teeth. "Patient my ass" Lynox scoffed. "Uhm, alpha." One of the guards started. We both turned towards the him. "I found the footage." he said. We both rushed towards the screen the guard is pointing at. It showed the hallway where our mate's room is, at the time we guessed the break in happened. I balled my fist upon the anticipation. Then a figure appeared, wearing black hoodie. By the height and built I'm pretty sure it's a male. It looked around before stopping in front of one door. He picked its lock for a few seconds before it opened. He looked from left and right before he went inside. I could feel my Lycan as well as Lynox's growing rage. "He seems human alpha." Another guard said. "I don't f*****g care! Find him! I want every available warriors guarding this place. Especially that floor!" Lynox growled. The head of security personnel, an enforcer from our pack bowed his head. "Consider it done alpha. "He said. Lynox huffed and walked out. I sighed and turned towards the head of security. "And make sure to change all locks. Use something that cannot be pick that easily. If you have to install the latest security device on every room, wether it be expensive so be it." I sneered. "Yes alpha. Right away alpha." the head of the security said bowing his head. I gave him a curt nod before following Lynox. While I was walking along the quiet hallway, my phone rang. I stopped walking and pulled my phone from my jacket's inner pocket. I saw Zab's name and I immediately answered. "What's up?" I asked. "I just called to ask how you guys are doing?" I heard her ask. I took a deep breath and answered her. "We're good. Business is doing good." I said. "That's good to hear. Mom is asking to see you two. She misses her not so little devils." Zab said. I scoffed. "I told you we're the most beloved among us." I told her smugly. "Oh please." Zab sneered. I chuckled as I could imagine Zab's reaction. I'm pretty sure my older sister is rolling her eyes right now. "On a serious note, mom misses you two. She misses all of us." "She's always welcome to visit. Lynox and I can give her a grand welcome." I told Zab. "You i***t!" Zab growled which made me laugh. "Kidding aside sister, mom is always welcome to visit. I'm actually really curious as to why she never bothered to pop up here for the past three years since we took over Russia. "I said, and I heard Zab sigh from the other line. "Mom seems to be grown paranoid. She won't leave dad even for an hour. So she can no longer just go anywhere." Zab explained. Ever since the incident that happened three years ago when mom, dad and Calie are in a vacation mom was never the same. Yeah, she's still the fiercest warrior, and a powerful queen. But the fear of loosing anyone of us hit her hard. "It has been three years Zab." I said. "I know. But I guess seeing your mate die have that huge impact on her. I know she still have that guilt for leaving dad and Calie. That few minutes costed her the life of her mate, our father." Zab said. She was right. During their vacation, when mom left dad and Calie for a few minutes to hunt, rogues took that opportunity to attack. Yes my dad is a strong alpha, a halfling, an elemental, but every parent's weakness is their children. Those filthy rogues used my baby sister against dad. They put a f*****g silver knife against a three years old kid's neck, while they beat dad. If he fought back, they will slit her throat. That's what they used to weaken a strong alpha lord. Dad took all their beatings, just so our sister won't be harmed. Then they stabbed him in the heart, and slit his throat. A sight that hunted our mom ever since. That is the moment where mom's vampire side and her lycan fused into one, and transformed into her lycan's supreme form. We heard of stories how mom is like a killing machine when her vampire and lycan fused into one, but no one knew how dangerous she can be if she also transform into her supreme, mindless, feral form. Mom did not just kill all the rogues, she ate them. The whole place was drenched with blood. When she transformed back to normal, the painful wails of the queen brought every creature nearby to their knees. We may not be present during the whole ordeal, but when mom and dad's memories were projected to us, it was like a horror movie. "We owe everything to Calie." I heard Zab say. "Yeah. That little munchkin had us in debt to her." I said. That incident also made our little sister develop her first gift. A gift that no one has ever heard of having. A very rare yet dangerous gift. The gift 3;of bringing the dead back to life, a necromancer. Yes, our three year old sister brought our father back to life. "That gift is also what made mom more paranoid. No one should know about her gift. It's f*****g dangerous for us, and for her." Zab said. "I know. Both Calie and Zari needs to be protected." I said. Being a necromancer is dangerous for it don't just bring back the dead, but it can also take a life. To put it simply, a necromancer will just follow one rule. A soul for a soul. When Calie unconsciously brought our father back to life, she used her own life force. She ended up in coma for a month, and her luscious dark lock turned white. "Calie is not like any children in the pack. She's still a kid but she prefers to train with the adults. She's.." I cut her off. "Like us." "She trains so hard like you and Alex. She studies so hard like Creon. Tell her to have fun like her most awesome brothers." I told her grinning. Zab chuckled. "Anyway, Zari said she saw your mate. She said she's beautiful." Zab said, and I immediately perked. "Really? We caught a glimpse of her yesterday. Now we found out she was staying in our hotel. Lynox and I are close to having her." I told her. Then I remember the human intruder. Damn, we need to find him. "That's great. When you got her, please visit Stone Castle. Zari, Zander and Alex are there now." She said. "We will. Don't worry. But, why aren't you with them?" I asked. "I'm out in a mission. I'm with the merc this time." Zab said. I guess the crown princess still love to take missions. "You take care, and we'll see you soon." I told her. "You too dimwits." Zab said before hanging up. I chuckled and put back my phone into my pocket. We need to find mate, so we can visit. We need to find the intruder, so we can visit. 'Yes. Find mate, visit mother.' My lycan, Caspian said. 'Let's find our brother first.' I told him, and continued walking, looking around where my brother went.
