“You were right. I shouldn’t trust anyone. Not even my dad. I remembered that Eric had mentioned dad fighting with David.”
I was more than grateful that finally, she was ready to trust in my words.
“That’s good. We will discuss it later, tomorrow. You should take proper rest in order to recover faster,” I advised while sauntering towards the couch.
“And...,” I remembered to ask about her condition. Even though she looks good from the outside, no one would have any clue what she had been through. How painful it was or how frightened she was.
