“Ace’s POV”
Promptly, I heard heavy footsteps approaching the door. Listening to it, I could say a group of men entered in.
“Before they could reach here, drop your gun and get out of the way, Ace,” hearing Steve’s voice, I turned my head. I wasn’t that surprised compared to Jack, to see him taking my side.
“You bloody... betrayed me?” William’s voice came out quiveringly.
“I learned it from criminals like you,” Steve spat in disgust.
“If I had no one to worry about, I promise I would have killed you right away.” Pulling the gun away from him, I unloaded it and after, hid it inside my coat before stepping away from him.
