“I want your help to find Jack Ortiz. The sooner the better. I am texting all the necessary information.” I hung the call.
I couldn’t withhold the tears formed in my eyes.
I couldn’t lose my son for the second time. I kept repeating the sentence.
With all the efforts and a blurred vision, I began typing Jack’s data. Attaching a photograph and his mobile number, I sent it to Steve.
I added a cautionary text, “I don’t want to file a complaint yet, but I suspect he is behind Amanda’s murder. Hence, I want your full support on this to find out where Jack is.”
I badly hoped Jack to get caught before it’s too late.
It was a long journey to Jack’s office. It could take almost 3 hours.
