I was about to get inside the car when I heard someone loading a gun. Turning my head, I searched who it was.
My eyes almost jumped out of its socket when I saw the one standing not too far from me. I was at gunpoint and had no weapon to defend myself.
It was the same officer who betrayed Chelly and took her back to Jack. I got to see him as Steve had offered me some pictures of him to confirm from Chelly whether it was him or not.
But according to Steve, he too was in police custody. How was everyone getting out so easily?
The only way to continue with this case was either bringing Jack and all the suspects to the capital of the country or to get a trustable backup as soon as possible.
