Chapter 8 Have a Wish for Joseph

1773 Words
Tessa didn't take what David had said that day to heart. She didn't expect David to pick her up and ask her a question in physics class. David only asked the three things he had just said in a row, which were so simple that Tessa could answer after listening to the class.            Some hissing was loud in the classroom, intentionally or unintentionally, and Tessa wasn't embarrassed. David looked at her helplessly.            Even though David arrived in Class 1o for a few days, he could see that Tessa was consciously ostracized by her classmates. Her only friend is Gavin. She heard the class teacher say that Gavin had gotten into trouble, his grades were dropping, and he should sit separately from Tessa to avoid being a bad influence.            Because she knows that David is a teacher, Tessa is cold and light on him, and it's hard to see him again on the field. David thought she was mad at him but later discovered that Tessa's attitude towards every teacher was the same. She seems to be tacitly facing the world he lives in, which leaves David, who was full of confidence at first, somewhat discouraged.            At the end of the last class, David stood at the office door and looked at Class 10. However, after a few moments, he saw Tessa with one hand on Gavin's shoulder, talking and laughing in the direction they were taking a step. They were about the same height, and both wore school uniforms. They would think they were two boys if they didn't look carefully. However, at the Academy, Tessa was the only one who could hold the boy's shoulder boldly and without disobedience.            Gavin flinched a glance at David, a teacher who had been very popular with the girls recently, and they paused to greet him " Sir?" Tessa beside him snorted under her breath and said the liar            David nodded and turned his gaze to Tessa. "Want to play basketball later ?"            "No" Tessa rolled her eyes and knew that David was courting her, but she wasn't interested in her teacher.            Jack and his family rented an old factory building on the outskirts of town. They carefully converted it into a stylized rock-and-roll theme primarily for the band's weekday practices.            Jack has just written a new song and has been rehearsing and preparing to perform at the New Year's Eve party. Tessa likes heavy metal, rock and roll, and drums. Taking advantage of Sean's recent overseas business trips, she goes to Jack and them to hang out after school and comes home late every time.            Amber waits for her every night. It seemed late today, but she couldn't ask because Tessa never answered her calls.            Amber is half reading her book and hears the roar of a locomotive in the yard. But two minutes later, Tessa pushed open the door and entered.            Amber subconsciously looked at the clock on the wall. It was midnight. "Have you eaten?"            Tessa nodded; Amber had something to say and saw Tessa coming up the stairs.            Amber's heart is also full of contradictions. If this is told to Sean, Tessa will hate her again. She felt a little sorry for Sean if she didn't say it. On second thought, she only comforted herself. Tessa and Sean certainly have a father-daughter relationship. Sean wants to change Tessa to become a better she-wolf and meet her mate later.            Joseph's bedroom door is open, Tessa looks in, and Joseph is playing a game at the computer. Tessa thought Joseph was pretty good with the game. At this time, Joseph suddenly turned his head and looked at him with unfamiliar eyes. Tessa thought Joseph might hate her because of Melissa, but she didn't care and provokingly stretched her hand to Joseph.            Joseph suddenly stood up and walked towards her. She thought Joseph would be angry, but he looked at her and frowned. "Your dad will be worried if you keep coming home so late without saying anything."            About her father, Tessa still feels a little guilty. She reached out and grabbed Joseph's shoulder. She not only knocked Joseph down, but she almost stuck to Joseph. Joseph even felt Tessa's short breaths fall on her warm, itchy chin.             Tessa was unconscious, pointed to her nose, and said evilly, "If you dare to complain to Dady , I won't let you!" Perhaps Tessa thought it was pointless to threaten him anymore, and raised her head and hummed, "Even if you think I'm afraid of you, it won't happen to me, step brother!" Joseph's attitude was silent; he let Tessa walk away and arrogantly turned his back to her. It made Tessa feel satisfied to pin Joseph. After the midterms, there is a three-day holiday on New Year's Day. The day before the arrival of the New Year, Sean returned from abroad especially.            Jack's band attends a music festival in the evening, and Tessa agrees to join. When she returned, she saw Sean sitting on the sofa, and her disappointment was written on her face.            Reluctantly greeting, Sean was a little displeased. Tessa had not seen her father for half a month, so she gave this face. She was sure it was too comfortable for a while.            " Your brother has a show in the evening, hurry up and have dinner, and we will go out together later."            Joseph throws a piano solo at the school's New Year's Eve party, and Sean flies back, especially for Joseph, which makes her feel even more unhappy.            "What does Joseph have to do with me? Who is he?"            Sean lowered his head. " Tessa , you remember that Joseph is not someone else, he is your brother!"            Seeing that there was going to be another fight, Joseph's careless voice came from behind her.            " Sean, don't force Tessa if she really doesn't want to go. Her presence isn't that important."            She turned her head, and Joseph was coming down the stairs. He was wearing a suit and jacket in his hands.            Even though Tessa doesn't want to go, Sean scolds her because of Joseph before, and now Tessa is sick of Joseph. She still hated them and hissed heavily. After a while, she said, "I have a stomach ache today and feel uncomfortable!" No matter how angry her father was, she ran upstairs. If Amber didn't persuade Sean, he would get angry again. "Then stay home, and don't you dare come out !"            As Sean's family left the door, Tessa made her bed as if someone was sleeping and slipped out the door as the workers were out.            The music festival is by the lake. The place is small, and the view is crowded. Tessa risked the air in her lungs to dry up before she headed out into the backyard. Jack and his band are still well known on the Internet, and sometimes, little girls seek autographs.            "Hey, they have become big stars." Sophia is the only girl in their band, with pigtails and a black musician's dress. Tessa manually praised, "Cool!"            She winked at Tessa " It's late " Tessa chuckled. "You don't know that academy girls don't have time to sleep "            After Jack signed his name, he glanced at Tessa and scoffed, " Tessa is the best rebel in the Academy and can't compare to us."            Martis was a healthy player and saw Tesa's masculine appearance. "I heard you didn't defend well there. I don't understand why your father had to put you in that Academy , The people there are completely different from the likes of us."            Sophia hugged Tessa and blinked. "I said, honey, your father might allow your half-brother to spy on your life. "             Tessa had fought with her father over Joseph before she came. They mentioned it again and couldn't help but feel slightly irritated. "Silence; no one is allowed to mention him to me."            She sat in a corner, took a bag of chocolates from her backpack, and huffed and puffed with her father. She didn't even have dinner and was so hungry she felt her stomach growl.            After a while, the music festival staff approached Jack to communicate with them about the show.            Sophia put down her guitar and snuggled up with her. "You hate Joseph that much ? " she asked with a hopeful face.             Tessa rolled her eyes. " He is bullshit!"            Sophia looked pleased when she heard the answer. Indeed, the item's eyes flashed with an anthomaniac light and told her, "I think Joseph is good."             Tessa suddenly understood and looked around Sophia's face a few times. She asked extraordinarily, "Why do you suddenly have a crush on Joseph?"            Sophia smiled dryly. "She has a nice voice, especially when speaking in a low voice. Not too crisp, clean and cool. I can't stand being around him "            "I can't say anything good about him " Tessa shook her head in disgust and punched Sophia again. "He has a girlfriend."            Sophia clapped her hands confidently against her chest. "Just the girlfriend, not you, no problem."             Tessa sneered. "Joseph likes green tea bitchis with good grades and smooth and touching. There's no use for a naughty girl like you to have feelings for him " Martis's ears rang; he interrupted, "That means Joseph will not see you as a woman because he can't possibly fall in love with a rude and ignorant girl like you." " Eat your sandwich, Martis."             Tessa laughed and suddenly saw Jack looking at Sophia. Her hair was rather long, and her head barely covered her eyes. The slanted face line looks sharp because it is too thin but slightly melancholy.             This atmosphere gave her a strange feeling. Sophia told her privately that they had moved out of their house because the band's lineup had been so rigid with her family.            Before she could ask, there was a burst of cheers outside. The show had started, and the DJ's enthusiastic and infectious voice penetrated her eardrums.            This music festival invites many bands and some famous original singers from the city center. The audience is all young students. Fierce music, sparkling lights, and screams of the singers exploded in the audience.             Tessa was also driven to get a little excited. She waved with Jack and jumped into the audience. There were already some of her friends in the front row. Jack's show is over eleven. Jack was the lead singer, belting out three songs, singing high, and jumping over fences, and the scene exploded instantly. Jack on stage is dazzling, with gorgeous lights and crazy music, and excited teenagers wasting time on their time recklessly.
