CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN
Alvin turned to Jed, "I'm doing the right thing Jed," he said to him and then he turned the guards, "Take her away," he ordered.
The guards picked up Elsie from the car booth, she was still unconscious and she looked so pale, they took her away and threw her in the prison with others and locked it up.
Jed followed the guards and hid behind them, when they left, he walked to the prison and he just couldn't help but feel pity for Elsie, he was convinced that she did nothing wrong and she wasn't supposed to be treated the way she was being treated by Alvin.
He peered at her for minutes and she still didn't move, he knew that she must have been affected by the excess loss of blood, he had to do something or her condition might get worse.
