Jed gazed at Alvin for minutes, "Wait," he said and spranged up, he wiped the tears in his eyes and rushed to where Elsie was laid, he held her hands and placed two of his fingers on her wrist, a little smile fell on his face. Jed turned back to Alvin, "Elsie is not dead," he announced and smiled again, "Elsie is alive," Jed avowed.
Alvin shook his head, he felt like Jed was toying with him, "This is no joke Jed, this isn't time for your joke," Alvin barked.
"Does this looks like a joke to you?," Jed asked and turned to Elsie, he placed two of his fingers on her wrist again, he wasn't getting a pulse but he could feel her breath silently, he knew what was wrong with her, "Your Livia is not dead," he said again.
