Jed was unsure of what Alvin was trying to do, he already got into a big mess by bringing Elsie to the Green City, he believed that he should try to make up for all he did, he was confused of his actions.
Alvin looked up at Jed and pushed his hand off him, "No," he growled, "I have to find Livia," he barked.
