Day 3 mid day of New Investigation

After a few moment they reached the station.Before they got out of the car Chloe asked Andrew” Do you want to go to lunch before we drop them off?”
“Yeah”
“ We can ask Sabrina and Mikel to come with us”
“Ok “he answered looking in the car.”
“Is something wrong?”
“No” he said seemingly stepping out of his focus.
Chloe quickly kissed him on the cheek and went inside the building. Andrew let the twins out of the car and followed after her. Chloe helped the twins sit in her chair. Andrew walked away to talk to Sabrina.
“Sabrina” he called
“Yeah”
“ Do you want to come to lunch with me and Chloe?”
“ Sure yeah let me grab my things”
“Have you seen Mikel?”
“Yeah he was in the break room”
“Okay thanks:”
He walked into the break room. He saw Mikel making coffee.”Mikel do you want to go to lunch with Chloe, Sabrina and I?”
“Yeah”he said as he continued to make his coffee
When Mikel finished making his coffee they walked back to the their desk.
“You guys ready?”Mikel asked
“Yep”
“Where are we going?”asked Christiana
“What about Danny’s or Riley’s?” he asked everyone
“Danny’s” Mikel answered
“Everyone okay with it?” he said
“Yeah”Sabrina and Chloe said
When they got to the restaurant.They order their food and was waiting for it to arrive before Andrew excused himself.
“Listen to Chloe” he said as he left the table
Chloe had started the twins on the game tic tac toe and they were enjoying it as they bounced in there seats.Sabrina and Mikel started to tell Chloe about everything that they learned in their investigation
“Do you think that she was telling you the whole truth?” Chloe asked
“Not the whole truth she was protecting her partner” Mikel said
Andrew came back inside right before the food arrived. “ Chloe and I are going to drop them off at Anabella’s.” he told Mikel and Sabrina
“Then I think that you and Sabrina should talk to Richard Bane while Chloe and I deal with the family again “ he continued
“ Okay”
“Do you have the file on Richard Bane? “Chloe asked
“ Yeah, Why was he crossed off as a suspect ?”Mikel asked
“ He was actually never crossed out as a suspect they didn’t have enough evidence to prove he was involved in the kidnapping or the death of Bree” Sabrina said
They continued to update each other on the information they gathered while eating. Everyone finished eating and they left the restaurant and went they their separate ways.
Sabrina and Mikel went to Richard house. The house was more like a little cabin. The wood looked as though it was rotting and that it would crumble at any moment.
“ Are you sure that this is the right address?” Sabrina asked Mikel who was driving the car
“Yes it’s the right address”he said as he double checked
“Okay then “ she said as she got out of the car. Mikel looked around the whole place and thought it was a good place to hide if you didn't want to be found. Which lead him to think why didn’t Richard want to be found. He was trying to memorized every square inch of the property.
Sabrina knocked on the door.” Who is it?” Richard shouted
“FBI cold case division we want to ask you a few questions” Mikel said
Richard came to the door.”This about Bree” he asked
“ Yes i’m Special Agent Weatherly and this is my partner Special Agent Levettey” Mikel introduced them
“ What do you want now?”
“Mr.Bane you were original suspect in the abduction. Can you tell me how you knew the Benson’s?” Mikel
“ I was Brandon brother in law”
“ You were at the house earlier that day and you fought with Brandon”
“ I fought with Brandon but I would never hurt Bree or B.J.”
“ What was the fight about?” Sabrina asked
“My sister wanted to see B.J. He was ignoring her calls so she asked me talk to him”
“ Why would your sister want to see B.J??”
“ B.J. is her son”
"What is your sisters name?"
"Molly"
“ Where were you when she was abducted? I was with my sister at the treatment facility.”
“ Where is your sister now?” Mikel asked him
“ I don’t know she left her treatment facility shortly after Bree abduction”
“ Do you think that she had anything to do with Bree disappearance?”
“No,she was in the facility at that time”
“ Was there anyone else who visited, called, or wrote your sister besides you Brandon, and B.J”
“ No, not that I know of”
“ Would that be something they would notify you of?”
“Yes, I was in charge of all her medical she was unable to care for herself”
“Why was she placed in the care facility?”Sabrina asked
“She violated a restraining order against the Benson’s She didn’t hurt them or anything she just wanted to see B.J. He was her only child the only part of her that I had left. After Bree was abducted they never let B.J out of their sight. We were closer before the abduction.
“ I guess we're done for now” Sabrina said “ thank you for all your help
“One more question” Mikel said” How many detectives did you speak to about Bree Benson case”
“ I talked to three different Detectives”
“ Do you remember their names?”
“No, I’m sorry I don’t”
“ Again thank you”
“No problem” he said going back inside of his house.
“ You drive” Mikel said tossing the keys toward her. Sabrina easily caught them.
“No new Information out of him”
“But he spoke to three detective Why did Maxwell say that their was only him and Lane?”
“Maybe he forgot about it he worked a lot of cases”
“Maybe maybe not”
Mean while Andrew and Chloe dropped off the twins to a irritated Anabelle and were on the way to the Benson’s house.
When they got to the house Mr.Benson was sitting on the front porch on a old chair.
" Detective Adam Detective Scott"he greeted them "come on inside Heather is just finished making lunch."he said leading them inside.
When they got inside they saw that Mrs. Benson was still in the kitchen.
" We just have a few more questions for you" Andrew said
"okay" they said together
“Mrs.Benson, Is Bree room still the same?” Chloe asked gently
“ Why do you ask that?” Mr. Benson asked
“ Parent’s of missing children tend to keep the room the same in hope that their child will be found or to remember their child “Andrew answered
Mrs.Benson just nodded her head in response
“ Do you mind if we just take a look in the room?”
“Why do you need to do that?”Mr.Benson asked trying to learn everything about this new investigation as possibly
“ Just to see if something was overlooked the first time sometimes a new pair of eyes might see something that was missed” Andrew answered Mr.Benson’s questions
“ Go right ahead i’ll show you where it is” Mrs.Benson said
“ No, Dear i’ll show them where it is “
“Okay” she said through her tear” I’ll go make some coffee”
They followed Mr. Benson up the stair to Bree’s room.When they reached the door Mr.Benson touched her name plaque that hung on the door, before he opened it and let them in. The room was every little girl dream bedroom. Light pink walls that had princesses and stickers on it. Chloe put on gloves before she even walked in the room and Andrew did the same.
He opened the drawers on the white stand next to the bed. There was jewelry in there. Andrew wondered why there was jewelry was in the stand instead of the jewelry box with the dancing king and queen. Andrew got the Jewelry box off the vanity.
“Chloe look at this” Andrew said Chloe walked over
“ We have this necklace in evidence.” Chloe said
“Mr.Benson” Andrew called out
Brandon came into the room”yes”
“This necklace who is it?”
“It’s Bree’s”
“She wasn’t wearing it the day she was abducted?”
“No, We were supposed to go swimming that day but the plans changed”
Chloe took out an evidence bag, Andrew placed it in the bag. Chloe walked over to Bree closet as Andrew labeled the bag. She opened the door and saw a dress similar to the one she was abducted in. She reached for it. All of a sudden Chloe started to fade.
Mrs.Benson was shopping with Bree.
" Bree, Sweetheart don't go to far?"
"Okay mommy."
Bree continued to run around the store until a lady stopped her.
"Where's your mommy at?" she asked
Bree pointed to her mother
"This dress would be perfect for you, go give it to your mom"
Bree looked at the dress before running back to her mom.
Chloe started coming back to reality
"We're finished in here" Andrew told Brandon. Brandon turned around and headed down the steps. They followed him, but before they we're half way down the stair they heard Brandon Jr. yelling. Andrew tried to step in front of Chloe to protect her but she stopped him. She turned and gave him a look that made him straighten up.
“Calm down” Andrew said when they were downstairs.
“ Don’t tell me what to do” Brandon Jr. yelled walking closer to Andrew
“B.J cut it out" Brandon raised his voice.” Brandon Jr. looked at his father then backed away from Andrew.
“ When did you get Bree this necklace” Chloe asked Mrs.Benson
“ For her 4th birthday”
“ A similar one was found in the car she was abducted in”Andrew said not taking his eyes off B.J.”
“Mrs.Benson”
“Please call me Heather”
“Okay Heather did you speak to or hear from your brother’s?”
“ I speak to Charlie and Ted sometime usually around this time of year Bree’s birthday and holidays. I was close to Charlie until he got married"
“ What about your brother Mark Brookson?”
“It’s none of your damn business”B.J mumble
“ He left the day he turned 18. It was a fight he had with our dad.”
“ Do you know where he went?”
“No I didn’t see him again until I turned 18 that was 5 years after he left.”
“ Do you not like Ted's wife?”
“No, not really”
“ Can I ask why?”
“ He just seemed different after they started dating and got married. I think she is taking advantage of him. He took Mark leaving the hardest.”
“Is that all?”B.j asked
“Yes” Andrew said
Just then Chloe got a phone call from Mikel . She excused herself to take the call.
“ Hello”
“Chloe did Brandon tell you about the fight he had with his ex brother in law Richard?”
“No”
“Brandon Jr. is his nephew”
“Heather isn’t his birth mother?”
“ No, His mother escaped from her care facility shortly after Bree was abducted”
“What was her name?”
“Molly Benson she kept her married last name”
“ What was the fight about?”
“ Molly wanted to see Brandon”
“ Why was there a problem with her seeing him?”
“ I wasn’t told that “
“Okay thank you I will ask Brandon about that”
“Okay”
Chloe went back into the room.”So sorry about that Mr.Benson can you tell me about the fight you had with Richard Bane”
“ It was about Molly wanting to see Brandon”
“Did you know Molly escaped her care facility?”
“ No when did she escape?" he asked
" Shortly before Bree was taken"
"Did she do it? did she take my baby girl?"
"We don't know that yet"
"Why wasn't she seeing Brandon Jr.?"
I’m not his birth mother but I love him like he is mine. We were just protecting him she was very unstable.” Heather said
“Did she ever see Brandon?”
“No,she was checked out before we went to visit her we went about 2 months after Bree went missing”
“ We usually take him every other weekend , but with Bree” She choked on Bree name.
“ She just wanted more time alone with him and we said no” Brandon said
“Okay, You said that she was checked out earlier?” Chloe said
“Yes , that’s what the care facility said” He answered
“What is the name of the care facility?”
“ New Hope”
“ New Hope told you she was checked out if she was checked out who would’ve checked her out”
“ Richard “
“ She took Bree didn’t she?” Heather said
“ We don’t know that?" Andrew said again
“ She escaped she tried to take Brandon before” Heather screamed at him
“ Wait Molly tried to take Brandon?” Andrew asked
“ Yes, more than once”
“ Is that why she was in the care facility?” he asked
“One of the many?” she said snarky
“ Don’t start again.” Brandon said
“ She could have taken my baby girl” she shouted at him
“ Okay” Andrew said trying to calm them down.
"we don't know the full story yet" Chloe talked to Mrs. Benson until she calmed down lol à
“We should get going”
“ yeah lot’s more to investigation” Chloe said and they left the house.
When they reached the station.They prepared to go home for the night. Mikel and Sabrina we're still in the office.
“Anything new” Mikel said
“ Nothing that can’t be discussed in the morning” Andrew said
“ Chloe, Do you want me to walk you to your car?”
“Yeah, sure” she looked at him and instantly smiled
Mikel and Sabrina looked at both of them.
“What?” Chloe asked
“Nothing “ Sabrina said smiling
Mikel laughed at them.” Andrew Do you want to walk me to my car too?” he teased
Andrew threw a ball of rubber bands at him. Andrew and Chloe left the station
“We're going to be a good team”Chloe said
“Yes, we are”
They reached her car.Chloe smiled at him.He looked down on Chloe and kissed her. Chloe kissed him back. Andrew stopped the kiss after a few moments.
“ I missed you” he told her
“I missed you too” she told him
“I have to go pick up the twins”
“Okay” she said he opened the car door for her . She got in .” Be safe” he told her
“I will” she said he stepped away from the car and she pulled off
