day 4 morning new Investigation

Chloe was expecting to meet someone today she didn’t know who. She wondered if she was allowed to bring someone with her. She didn’t want to scare the woman off. If she was to bring someone it would be Sabrina. The team slowly filled the office. When they were all in the Director came out.
“My office” he told the team He lead them all into the office. They all stood silently until the director started to speak
“ Special Agent Adams house was broken into last night.” he started everyone looked at Chloe
“ Why didn’t you call me?” Andrew asked
“It was late ” she said to him
“There was also threats”
“ I got threats too” Mikel said
“ When did you get threats”Andrew asked
“Yesterday morning”
“I want you all to be extra careful” he told them “dismissed” he said sitting down
They all left his office. Mikel and Chloe went up to Edward office so he could get the blocked number
“Ed” Mikel said
“Kel” Edward said excited “Chloe”
“Hey” She answered
“ We need you go get information off of our phone”
“What is it?” he asked Mikel
“ A blocked phone number that was texting threats”
“You can find and track the phone?” Chloe asked
“Yep, it’ll be a while though”
“No problem” MIkel said
“Thanks Edward”Chloe said
The headed back downstairs.
“Mikel we're going somewhere” she told him
“Where?” he asked
“ The Stop N Shop market”
“Why?”
“We're going to get some information on the case”
“There wasn’t anything about the Stop N shop market in the case file. It was built months after Bree was missing.”
“ I know that but there is someone there I need to speak to.”
“Okay, Let me grab my things”
They went to their desk and grabbed a few thing,
“Where are you going?” Andrew asked
“ The Stop N Shop” Chloe answered
“For the case?” he asked
“No, Just grabbing a few things” she lied to him Mikel looked at her confused
“Mikel let’s go” she said
When Mikel and Chloe left Andrew went back into the Director's office. Sabrina followed him into Jefferson office.
“You here about Chloe's and Mikel’s threat”
“Yeah, Did Chloe sleep here last night?”
“No, she went to a motel, she just brought Tiger to work.”
“What is she going to do with him?” Sabrina asked
“I don’t know what she's going to do with him?”
“He can stay at my place “ Andrew said
“Good take him tonight” Director Jefferson said
“What did she do with him last night?” Sabrina asked
“He stayed here with me last night?Jefferson said
“Watch out for Mikel and Chloe be more careful then you already were. I want a list of suspect on my desk by the end of tonight.” He told them “Dismissed”
Andrew and Sabrina left his office.
“You know Chloe and you tend to team up and leave me and Mikel to team up”
“ I know”
“Why?”
“No reason”
“Is it because your dating?”
“No”
“Then why?”
“Chloe tends to be a little more involved in our cases and I just want to make sure she is always protected”
“Do you trust Mikel with her protection right now?”
“Yes”
“ She wasn’t telling you the truth” Sabrina said
“I know that too”
“Why didn’t you stop her?”
“ She is a great agent” he said “We need to find out more about the detective.”
Meanwhile Mikel and Chloe were looking in a crowd for anyone suspicions Chloe got out of the car. Mikel tried to get out but Chloe went around to his door and shut it.
“What?”
“Stay, I don’t want to spook her”
She walked to the corner. A woman with blond hair, blue eyes,white jeans,and tie dye shirt walked up to her.
She was nervous, jumpy, and very paranoid.
“Are you Special Agent Adams?”
“Yes”
“He took her, she might still be alive, I don’t know for sure.” she said talking really fast
“Who are you?”
“ I was Sapphire” she answered
“ Talk to me at the station” Chloe tried to convince her
“They are watching me and you, and your team” she said
“Who’s watching you?” she asked looking over her shoulder
“ him,her, them”
“Were you missing?”
“Yes”
“Yes,but I escaped I was the only I think”
“Did you break into my house and send me threats?”
“It wasn’t me it was them they know your on to them.”
“What is your name?”
“ Molly Benson”
"You have to come with me"Chloe said
"No, I have to stay in hiding"
“Who is Sapphire?”
“I am or I was...was...I was Sapphire”
”Were you the only one?”
“No, there was Ruby,Garnite,and Garnet”
“Is that their real names?
“No that what he called us”
“Do you know real names?”
“No, i’m sorry I have to go”
“No wait “
“I’m sorry “ she said and ran off Chloe tried to run after her but lost her in the crowd. She gave p and went back to the car.
“What did you learn?” Mikel asked
“A lot” she answered
When they got to the station Andrew and Sabrina was sitting at their desk. Chloe went straight to the director office. When she reached the office she overheard what was going on with an active case. She looked in the office and realized that he was talking to another team leader.
“So the boy is severely injured but we got a name”
“ Granite”
“Last name?”
“No”
Chloe walked in when she heard Granite.” Director, sorry to interrupt but the I recognize that name”
“Okay, Is it with your case?”
“Maybe”
“Can you tell me more about the boy?” she asked “Wait, i’m sorry Special Agent Adam”
“Special Agent Mitchell Harper”
“Harper do you mind a joint operation if this has to do with my cold case?” she turned to Director Jefferson
“If it’s okay with you Director “ she continued
“It’s fine with me,if it’s okay with Special Agent Harper.”
“It’s no problem” he said looking in Chloe’s eyes
“Great could you just come with me I have to talk to my team first?”
“Chloe” Director said
“Yes”
“What did you come to my office for?”
“Umm...umm...umm it’s not important” she said walking away Harper following her
Chloe went down and caught the team up on everything she learned since the last time they all sat down together.Mikel added what they learned about Richard Bane, Sabrina told them more about Maxwell Quinn. Andrew sat and listened and wrote down who they thought was a suspect. After they were all caught up Chloe told them about Harper and the case he just started working on.
“We're doing a joint investigation”Harper told them
“Okay” Sabrina said
“Where is Granite?”Andrew asked
“He right now he is at the hospital in critical condition” Harper answered
“What hospital?”
“ Keller Louis Medical Center”
“Which floor is he on?”
“Floor 3 room 23b”
“Where was he found?”
“In the woods”
“Are your people still in the woods?”
“Yes”
“ Do you mind if we join them?”
“Not at all it’s a joint”
“Great”
“Me and Sabrina will go to the woods, and Mikel and Chloe can go to the hospital”Andrew said
“I’ll take you and Sabrina to the woods”Harper said to Andrew”Then I’ll meet Mikel and Chloe at the hospital”
“Thank you”Chloe told him.
“Let’s get going” Andrew said
When they got to the hospital they went straight up to the third floor. The flashed their badges at the security guard and the nurses at the nurse station. Then went straight to Granite room. He was in his room his eyes were closed. His face was covered in bruises and scars. Chloe sat down in the chair staring at the boy. Mikel went out of the room. He walked to the nurses station.
“Who is Granite doctor?”
“Doctor Patterson” the nurse in the pink scrubs answered
“Could you call him to the room?’ He asked her
“Sure, No problem”
“Thanks” he said walking back to the room
“Dr.Patterson should be here shortly”
“Okay”
“Special Agents” Dr.Patterson said as he entered the room.
“Special Agent Adams,and Weatherly” She said as they flashed their badges.
“What condition is he in?” Mikel asked
“He is in critical condition. He had surgery to remove 3 bullets from his midsection, bruising on his face,hands,and knees,arm,and legs. He also has 2 cracked ribs.”
“ What did you do with the removed bullets?”
“We gave then to Special Agent Harper”
“Tell me more about the gunshot wounds”
“They were stuffed with leaves. We had to unstuff him. Then we dealt with the wound.
“When will he wake up?”
“In the morning probably”
Chloe took out her phone and called the Director.
“Director Jefferson I need Agents outside of Granite hospital room. It’s on the third floor in room 23B.”
“I’ll send agents right away”
“Thank you” she said and hung up the phone. As she hung up the phone Agent Harper walked in the room.
“Mikel, You can call Andrew or Sabrina and tell them you'll meet them at the woods.” Chloe told him
“Okay, How will you get there” He asked her
“I will gladly give her a ride”Agent Harper said
“You okay with that “ Mikel asked her
“Yeah,i’ll be fine”
Mikel left
“Learn anything new” he asked her
“A little bit but I have a guard coming to guard his door.”
“Okay”
“Doc says he should be awake in the morning”
“We’ll come back in the morning then”
“I’m going to stay until the other agents come and relieve me”
“Are you sure? It’s a hospital.”
“I’m sure you can go if you don’t want to wait”
“I’ll wait” he said sitting next to her
“Great” she said
“So how long you been on this case”he asked her
“ Four days” she said
“Do you like working cold case?”
“So far so good” she said
Then the agents came in.
“Agent Silver and Agent Linnel”Said Agent Silver said as they flashed I.D.
“Great your here I want one agent inside the room and One outside the room at all times. At no point in time should he be alone. I don’t care if it’s a doctor or a nurse. I repeat at no point in time should he be left alone.”
“We got it “ Agent Linnel said
“Great” she said
Agent Linnel went into the hallway. Chloe walked out of the room. Mitchell followed her.
“ Woods?” he asked
“Yep”
