I stared at the picture of Ivy on my phone, my heart tugging against my chest. Ugh, what did I do? I nearly screamed out loud. I scrolled to the next picture and it was another one of Ivy. A small smile appeared on my face as I stared at the picture, remembering the day it was taken. We had gone out for a stroll because she complained about sitting at home all day. She looked so beautiful.
“What are you doing?” Caroline’s voice jerked me back to reality and I raised my head to stare at her, a little disoriented.
