The moment I got a job, my day went from being free to being super busy so quickly it almost gave me a whiplash. I would wake up every morning as early as six in the morning and had to be at the office by eight o’clock. Being the finance manager in this company was hardly an easy job. It took up every single moment of my space and time, but I welcomed it all. I needed every single time and day occupied to keep myself from thinking about my baby. It was the only way to ensure that I wasn’t overthinking or crying myself to sleep (I was usually too tired to do that and just ended up falling asleep immediately I climbed the bed.)
