“I need you to be downstairs in 5 minutes, I’ve got to take you somewhere” was all Jacob says before he hangs up the phone, I look down at my phone so confused on what the heck just happened.
But my brain soon kicks in telling me that Jacob would only call me like that if it was an emergency, I look around my room picking up everything that I’m going to need. Before I knew it, I was walking out of my bedroom and into the main section of the house where I thought I would find Austin. But I instead see a note on the fridge, I walk over picking up the note it read.
“Just been called in for a meeting with Markus, I don’t know when I’ll be back but I’ll make sure it’s before dinner. Stay safe, Austin”
This does make me smile that he had left me a note so I wouldn’t worry, it also made relief
