Without warning, Zephyr grabs me and pulls me onto the bed. He grins at me, holding me tightly in his lap and wrapping his arms around me so I can't move. I hear more banging from the living area, and Eurus's gentle, quiet voice saying something inaudible.
“I know she is here," Dominik's voice growls. “I tracked her here."
There's more speaking from Eurus, and then a crashing noise like a small pot breaking.
“Dominik!" I yell. Zephyr's hand clasps over my mouth and he shushes me.
The door slams open, bouncing against the wall from the force. Dominik stands there, eyes practically glowing with fury. Golden scales run up his forearms, and I can see his fingernails looking more like claws. Worse yet, he's entirely undressed. He looks at the two of us with a scowl.
