“Therron," I say, my throat dry.
He smiles at me, his bright blue eyes crinkling up. The man before me is handsome, sharp cheekbones and a heavy jaw. His sandy hair falls in front of his eyes, and he pushes it back with a large, tanned hand. The sight of him made my skin crawl.
“Who is this?" he asks, glancing over at Dominik.
“My name is Dominik," he answers, holding out his hand. “It is nice to meet you."
“You must be the one who saved Kaleigh," Therron says, that smile still wrinkling his cheeks. He takes Dominik's hand and shakes it firmly. “Thank you for doing that. Kaleigh is a gem in this village."
