1.dare

Briar's POV

You can have a peaceful life but when you have a group of f*****g horrible friends then you cannot.

Although I love them too much.

But yes I am using curse words for my friends cause they are horrible.

Rosè shouting "Yeahhh! Briar you can do it. It's just a dare. Come on I know you'll do it"

I gulped hard as my throat was dry.

Taking a few steps towards the corridor I turned back and saw five bastards, signalling me to go forward.

I was scared.

Of course who wouldn't be?! I was given a dare to steal the student record book from the principal's office.

I still don't understand why do they want it?

From the door lock hole I inquired if someone is in there or not. Luckily there was no one.

I slowly opened the door and tiptoeing, moved forward. My eyes moved all around the room.

Yes! there's no one.

I started searching here and there for the book. But I saw lots of other magazines and newspapers. Soon my eyes landed on the precious material I was looking for.

STUDENT RECORD BOOK

It was in the shelf behind the principal's chair. I jumped in excitement. Just when I was about to take it I heard someone coming out of the washroom.

I quickly hid under the principal's table. From the little hole I saw a man. He was wearing a black shirt.

I could make out that he's a man with an Amazing physique. I tried bending down as much as I could so that I could see his face but it was all useless.

Just after a few moments I saw him removing his shirt and I saw the best part of his chest. Ooh lala. Then my eyes traveled down and saw his six pack abs.

I was shock. How can a man have such an amazing body. I Think he's a celeb or a model.

He's a Greek God.

My eyes became more greedy and now were in the hope of seeing this man's face.

I crawled out and tried looking at his face. I quietly peeped from the side of the table. His back was visible to me.

Oh my my! He's so gorgeous even from his back. And that butt!

God is great. God is amazing. But when he sees someone having too much fun, he punishes them. Same happened with me.

So, I got imbalanced from the uncomfortable position I was sitting in and fell down.

Suddenly he turned around and saw me flat landed on the ground. A mixture of fear and embarrassment was all I felt at that time.

I without looking up to his face managed to get up and stood straight with my head down in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry, I-I'm sorry, I'm really s-sorry Sir. I didn't know y-you're here!" I said stuttering.

"even if I was not here, I don't think any student is allowed to enter the principal's office without prior permission" he said. 

His voice was like music. A song which I didn't really want to end. He was angry and yet so calm. Every word which left his mouth was making me even more tensed.

"I know s-sir. B-but" I said, too scared, because I had no idea what to say.

I was wrong and now he knows about it very well.

"I think you don't know. That's why you came in here" he said. Again in a calm voice.

"I'm sorry sir. This won't happen again" I said and bowed down.

I then hurriedly went to door, but when I was about to open it and move out, a voice came from behind.

"Wait" he said

I turned around and my eyes and mouth were wide in shock. I saw his face. It was practically not a face but it looked like a carved sculpture.

He was just the definition of perfect.

He's so damn gorgeous. Am I sleeping or is it reality?

He's a dream. I'm definitely sleeping. He's a man who's too beautiful to exist.

His hair were perfectly made. His eyebrows were even thicker than mine. His grayish eyes were plastered on me.

His nose so perfect. And his lips were the best. So pink and plum. It felt as if someone has carved every detail of his face.

He didn't seem real but was.

"should I punish you once more" he said.

He then furrowed his eyebrows reading my name badge.

"Miss Briar Carrington" he said with a little smile playing on his extremely beautiful face.

I licked my lips and bit my tongue. He crossed his arms signalling me to come near him. I slowly moved forward taking unwanted steps.

After completing the 5ft journey I stood in front of him. The close proximity gave me the idea of this man's height. His 6ft tall body was towering over my short one.

My head was still down. I wasn't able to gather the strength to raise my head after the so called offence I had committed.

"look up Briar" he said.

I looked up after his amazing lips left my name. I never thought my name would ever sound this sexy.

"you seem like a good child. That's why you're the head leader of the Amber house. Right?" he said politely.

He's really familiar with this school. He was able to make out my name and even my post so easily.

But, I nodded with tears almost coming in my eyes. He's making me feel so damn guilty for entering the office and I should be.

"so tell me very honestly. why you came here?" he asked now with a little strict tone.

"I-I umm sir. A-actually I" I stuttered.

I was done with words. I felt like a little child who doesn't know how to speak.

He sighed Making me scared. He took a step forward making the tension to build higher in my brain and stomach.

"look, I'm not letting you go unless you tell me why you came here. Don't worry. this conversation will stay between us. Only. So tell me the reason" he said in his usual calm tone.

But every time he speaks, he makes me even more nervous.

"sir you won't tell anyone right?" I asked making the most innocent face of mine.

He chuckled a bit showing his perfect teeth.

"hmm" he said nodding and folding his arms.

"actually sir. Me and my friends were playing truth or dare. And they gave me a dare to steal the student record book from the principal's office. I thought it would be easy because Mrs. Sofia Wilson is not present in the school" I said in a low voice

"so you thought, you can easily steal the book. Right?" he said furrowing his eyebrows.

"no no sir it was just a dare. I was not at all interested in that book but my friends gave me the dare" I said truthfully.

He sighed and nodded a bit as if thinking about something deeply.

"tell me the names of your friends" he said.

"No! I mean, please sir don't punish them. I swear I didn't see the book and promise you that me or my friends wouldn't be responsible for playing this kind of a stunt. ever again" I said.

I was almost a breath away for tearing up very badly. I could feel the water making my eyes moist.

He stared at me for a few seconds creating death silence. Then took a deep breath.

"Okay. I'm trusting you Briar. This should be the first and the last time you doing anything like this. If I even catch you again then not only you but even your friends will face the consequences. Got it?!" he said.

I nodded and quickly came out of the office. I ran through the corridor with big tears in my eyes. I'm still confused whether they were tears of joy or sadness.

Joy, for being able to escape from the problem and sadness, for making a very bad impression on such a handsome man.

But I feel like I was more happy cause I don't think I'll ever meet that handsome man again. I mean, I'm sure he's not a teacher or something.
