Perfect: Blue Flame

Chapter 1

     The year is 1750. Niles, the leader/king of the Elemental Angels, has his oldest daughter confined to the castle. Her long fiery red hair blows in the wind as she walks out to the balcony. She noticed a moving silhouette stalking the castle's shadows. She strains her eyes to make the person out better. She can make the outline of a man out. "Could it be him?" She thought holding her breath.

    "Sashy, your father wants you down for dinner." A servant softly says opening the door.

    "Tell him I'm not hungry. I'll eat when I am." Sashy hisses watching the shadows.

    "Yes, Princess." The servant bows leaving. Sashy goes inside to change from a princess dress to a black buckle up corset top and jeans. She went back out to the balcony and scanned the shadow, but saw no one. She felt disappointed and went back into her bed.

        The man in the shadows saw the girl on the balcony go in and advanced tot he castle wall. He didn't know that he had set off an alarm. "I need to hide til dawn." He thought panicking. He heard footsteps come back out and looked up. "Who's that? She's beautiful." He thought staring at her sadness. He felt that he had to help her escape this awful wretched place.

    "Princess Sashimary!" A guard yelled.

    "Oh no! I've been spotted." The shadow man thought.

    "There's an intruder. We need to get you to safety." The guard boomed his voice of authority.

    "I'll take my chances. I'm not going anywhere near Niles." She snaps walking to the balcony's entrance.

    "Your father wants you-" The guard stops abruptly seeing her face turn to pure anger. "I'll give him the message." The door closes.

    "Where are you, Light?" She whispers looking at balcony.

    "I guess it's now or never." The shadow man whispers jumping off the ground. When he landed, a grass sword was at his throat.

    "Who are you?" Sashy demanded.

    "My name is Vax. I came to hide until I saw your beautiful face." Vax explains.

    "You were in the shadows?" She grins lowering her sword and changing it to a blade of grass.

    "You're like me!" He yelled excited.

    "Keep your voice down!" She instructs putting her hand on his mouth. "The guards will hear you."

    "Why are you here?" Vax asked.

    "I'm buying my time to escape." She sighs leaning on the railing. "A friend promised to come back for me." She blinked a few times to fight back the tears.

    "I'll get you out of here." Vax says after a moment.

    "How are you gonna do that?" She asked walking towards him.

    "I can fly us out of here." He grins showing his wings.

    "So can I." She grinned showing her black wings. "Niles, my dad, seems to know when I'm escaping." She puts them away.

    "I can't protect you now. I can only use my powers during the day." He frowns.

    "I take it no one has taught you to rely on yourself instead of the sun." She laughs. Vax drops his eyes. "You're serious?" She questions.

    "My dad, Warren, wasn't much of a father." He chokes holding back tears. She walks to him and hugs him.

     "I'll teach you. I taught my brother and sisters." Sashy says pulling back some.

    "Wow, beautiful and kind. Nothing like mother." Vax thought locking eyes with her.

    "You're my way out. You got past the guards and my father." She abruptly says letting go. "My heart's racing. Why?" She thought turning from him.

    "Well if we're going, we better go now." Vax goes to the railing and extends his hand. She hesitates to take. "I'm not going to bite." He grins. She takes it and stands on the railing. Her wings come out. She felt like Niles couldn't stop her.

    The door flew open as a seven foot, red-haired man walked in. "Daughter I have... What is that boy doing here?" Niles asked sounding disgusted.

    "I don't have to answer to you. You're a monster." She growled facing him.

    "I told you that vampires killed your mother." He smirks.

    "I overheard one of your so called soldiers talk about it. Her final words were for me. Her words were 'I'm sorry, my Beauty.' I'll never forget them." Sashy growled having a dark look on her pale face.

    "How long have you known?" Niles was shocked.

    "I also know of your plan to make me your queen. You wish to have a child that's more powerful than an Ultimate. You think that I'm your one way ticket for you to get what you wish for." Sashy didn't bate an eye. Vax gets on the railing with her. The wind picks up. Niles throws fire in her direction, and she gathers earth from the walls to make a metal door. "We better go. That's not going to hold him for long." Sashy says looking out the tree line. 

    "Sashy! I'll hunt you down!" Niles yells pounding on the door. She stands on the railing and pushes off to fly. Vax followed her.

    Bang! The metal wall flew off. "We need to dive into the trees." She yells as she tightens her wings. Vax followed hitting tree branches on the way down.

    "Sashimary!" Niles growled flying above. They stayed in the shadows and our of sight. She spotted an abandon looking cabin and heads in. The went inside to try to find a change of clothes. In a bedroom that they went  into had female clothes. Sashy changed into a pair of black leather pants and spiked healed boots. There was a cloak hanging in the closet and grabbed it. She turned and saw Vax looking at her with his mouth dropping.

    "You're gonna catch flies if you don't close it." Sashy smiles.

    "You have an amazing body so who wouldn't look at you in awe." Vax says walking to her.

    "Unfortunately, Niles does know of this cabin. We'll have to travel further to be out of his territory." She looks out the window.

    "How much further do we have?" He asked debating on touching her arm.

    "About a hundred more yards." She scans the area.

    "Well, let's go." He says jumping out the window. She followed behind. She pulled the hood up to hide her bright red hair. "So you're a Perfect." He breaks the silence. She stopped and looked at him. 

    "You're attempting small talk." She stands square in front of him.

    "I just want to know the real Sashy." He gets close to make her feel uncomfortable.

    "I'm an Ultimate. Niles will have his army and rouges that he has under him after me. Salem will get word and do the same." She says turning to walk again.

    "My father, Warren, has been doing the same to me since I was twelve. He has an army of both races. He makes everything sound good just to dispose of them. He also has picked out a bride if I should call her that for me." He follows as they reached even more dense woods.

    "This should be a good spot to sleep." She says climbing a tree. He sits against the trunk and starts to doze off.

    "I can actually sleep." He thought looking at her. He fell asleep thinking of a future with Sashy.

    She woke up a few hours before sunrise and noticed Vax asleep below her. Sashy silently climbed down and walked away. "You're a good man. I can't let you get killed." She thought looking back.

    Vax feels a nudge wakes up. He wakes up to see a red-eyed, menacing looking man standing in front of him. Vax scrambled to his feet. "Son so good to see you." Warren smiles evilly.

    "What did you do with her?" Vax demands looking around.

    "Who are you talking about?" Warren looks at the direction that she went. "You five go after her."

    "You truly didn't know." Vax looks at the direction where they left.

    "You know they're my strongest men." Warren grins.

    Sashy heard about five people coming. She stopped and turned to see about ten Vampires and rouge Elementals. "Who are you? Did Niles send you?" She demands.

    "No. Warren sent us. We are to bring you to him and Master Vax." A male Element smirks.

    "Fine. I'll go so Vax doesn't get hurt." She puts her hands out to be tied.

    "No, see we don't tie people. We encase them in a combination of the elements." A black haired Element grins. All five rouges encase in a strong crystallize cocoon. They use wind to carry her back to  Warren.

    About fifteen minutes later Sashy had her eyes closed almost as if she's sleeping. "My son, you've chosen well." Warren smirks.

    "What have you done to her?" Vax runs to her pounding on the cocoon.

    "They'll be able to get her out once you have joined me." Warren chuckles evilly.

    "Sashy..." Vax whispers. 

    The cocoon started to  pulse. The cocoon's pulsing caused everyone to move back. "Stay back Vax." Sashy telepathically tells him. He gets the furthest back. Her eyes flashed open and the cocoon shattered. All the vampires got hit either in the neck or heart.

    "She took out practically everyone. Who is she?" Warren awes.

    "I'm Sashy Angel. I'm an Ultimate." She smiles picking up a blade of grass.

    "Angel.... Niles' daughter? Sashimary Angel!" Warren yelled surprised.

    "So you've heard of me?" She grinned evilly.

    "Your father is known as the greatest conqueror. You've managed to hold your own against him from the time that you were sixteen." Warren barred his fangs.

    "You've got five soldiers left. I don't count the useless Vampire in the shadows." Sashy laughed evilly. The vampire came up behind her ready to protest when he became engulfed in flames.

    "She's more powerful than the stories." Warren thought starting to sweat.

    "You're last chance to leave." She smiles.

    "You could join me?" He proposed. 

    "Why would I join you when I didn't join my own father?" She asked. She disappeared and appeared right in behind the last five warriors ripping their hearts out one by one. "You're turn to die." She grinned. Warren met her with a sword and nicked her left arm.

    "She's fast." Warren thought. He leapt back for distance. Sashy twirled her grass blade before turning it into a sword. She ran to Warren and was cut off by an arrow.

    "My lovely servant, Creed." Warren grins. A golden haired mid-back, light fair skin girl joined his side. She wore a silver robe that was priest like.

    "Leave Lord  Warren alone." Creed commands. "My love join your father." She looks at Vax pleading.

    "Is this supposed to be your bride?" Sashy asked

    "Sadly it is." Vax responds." 

    "Why is is sad?" Warren asked confused.

    "I would do anything that you tell me to do. I would do more for you than she could ever." Creed cries. Sashy made Creed's bow catch fire.

    "Really? I just helped him escape Niles and took out over half of a bully's army. A true woman doesn't let a man tell her what she can and can't do." Sashy smiles.

    "Why would you fight Lord Warren?" Creed asked in horror.

    "To protect the world from evil. I vow to protect everyone that needs my protection." Sashy determinedly says as Vax walks to her.

    "I also like Sashy more than anyone else. She's strong and follows her own path." Vax says wrapping an arm around her wast.

    "Get away from my man." Creed growled.

    "Your man?" Sashy scoffs. "Looks like he's mine." Sashy kissed him for five minutes. Creed looked mortified. Vax and Sashy parted breathing heavy.

    "You b***h!" Creed yelled taking a dagger out. She charged Sashy. Sashy got an eighty mile per hour wind up and threw Creed into a tree knocking her out.

    "s**t I'm out numbered and powered." Warren thought. He grabbed Creed and took off flying. Sashy got a fireball made up and threw it. She started to feel wobbly and fell into Vax.

    "Sashy!" Vax yelled catching her.

    "I'm okay. I haven't unleashed that much energy in a short period in awhile." Sashy grinned.

    "Let's find a cave or some shelter." Vax bent down to have her on his back. She got on and placed her hands on his shoulders. He grabbed her thighs.

    "You can grab my ass to get a better grip." She mumbles sleepily.

    "Go ahead and sleep. I'll protect you." Vax smiled feeling her head on his back. She started to breath deep. Vax reached an inn, gave the keeper money, and took her to a room.
