Jordy’s POV Two things happen on the first day. One is that, under pressure from me, Emma agrees to try a small boat. I have been at her for hours, saying that she can’t possibly come all this way and not enjoy the sea. But she says she’s been hopeless at windsurfing and can breathe underwater. We don’t have enough time to book her in for a beginners’ diving course, so we decide to sit on the boat. “How much is it?” She gasps theatrically when she sees the boat. “$357,263, I bought it yesterday.” I grab her waist and gesture toward the boat. “It’s really expensive!” Her mouth is wide open. “Yeah.
